It is clearly to early to start a thread about this considering that training camp has not even started.

I voted no.....not because of any lack of talent, but we have to see what he can do in practise and what role Saban will have him play and if he can play that role; whether it be ST, WR or QB.

Marcus Vick is a talented athlete. He has focussed his attention and energy at QB- The MOST difficult position in football. He did not rely soley on his arm, he used his legs, and his bulk (blocking). He can run in the open field with the ball, is a quick thinker.

IMO, he beats out Welker in terms of ability as PR...and likey earns a spot as the 5th WR.

McMichael's thing was an isolated incident, whereas vick's is a series of problems.

Vick doesnt even deserve that contract he has.

Obviously the coaches saw something in him we did not. If he keeps himself out of trouble and he plays well give him a shot at whatever position you feel fit.

Big difference is Randy is a proven stud at TE whereas Vick is a UDFA who played QB in college but probably wont in the NFL.

This poll should be based on talent alone.
