Does watching this hurt anyone else as much as me?

Not really, Ted Ginn is going to be a hell of a receiver. Mark my words.

I HATED the guy for about....well until a few days before the draft. Then I actually took the time to STUDY the guy, and I prayed we took him. Forget his speed, moves, whatever, guy is a football player period.

lol....typical homer fan opinion.

We draft a guy and all of a sudden he's Godly because WE drafted him. Anyone else makes that pick we are laughing.

PS Did I go back in time? Is it April 30th? Who cares anymore?

Thanks, but I actually started liking him about a week or two BEFORE we drafted him. So next time you criticize something like that, why don't you actually read the post.

as a Michigan fan I already hated the guy, and I did not think he was worth a top 10 pick. I was so mad when we picked him, I had to take a walk to cool down, and I even refused to come on to this site for a day or 2. But he won me over s TC and the season went on.

The thing that hurts is not the pick, but Cam's explanation. Say we're thin at WR (true), say we need speed (true), say we need youth on offense (true), hell say he'll bring versitility to the offense (should've been true had Cam not been an idiot). Don't say we'll love him returning kicks and that he comes from good peoples. If we wanted a KR, we could've picked someone competent up as a UDFA if need be.

Time will tell who the better pick is.
Brady Quinn hasn't had his shot yet, and won't this year with D. Anderson re-signing.
T. Ginn had a very good rookie year and sould be a key on offense for the dolphins this year and years to come. Did I want Quinn? Heck yeah I did. But I'm happy with what Ginn has done thus far.

The only thing I think when I see that is that I STILL feel bad for Brady Quinn. If you like him or not, he's not a bad person, and it was painful watching him keep falling and falling... like a trainwreck... couldn't help but watch.

I don't know about you guys but Ted Ginn was going 10th if we didn't select him. ESPN hypes up these players and your shocked they fall.

Ginn proved why he was picked. He did outstanding in the Return game and in the WR corps. He was are best WR by far this year. He got open and caught the ball consistently. IF you watch the Philly game Beck to Ginn was a common saying in that game. Ginn got open Beck found him. I expect him to only get better.

Part of the reason I was mad is he was about 9th on my wishlist. I was thinking...
1.Brady Quinn
2.Patrick Willis
3.Amobi Okoye
4.Adam Carriker
5.Joe Staley
6.Leon Hall
7.Derrell Revis
8.Anthony Spencer

I am more mad at Cam now for not using Ginn properly last year (and the brutal ST play)

I wanted Okoye or Willis. I agree Cam had no idea how to use Ginn.

I saw Ginn some in college and i was surprised till i saw who we pick in the second. I Like ginn i think hes gonna benefit from getting the ball more in the passing game. I think we need to improve the line and we will see MAJOR improvement with John Beck. Ginn could have scored at least 2 more tds if not for stupid penalties on Special teams, also displayed good hands and after the catch was brought down by lucky arm tackles in the open field which saved maybe 2 more if im not mistaken. 6 tds in his rookie year and i dont think were having this convo...willis would have been an awesome second option
