I mean he filled in great for Booker when he was down. He actually put us many times in scoring position and overshadowed our starting wr during one of those anal games that he has when he doesnt show up and actually makes the game worse from us from not running his routes right.

he was the onlyone who gave 120% of himself... i sure think he hella deserves that spot in the offence. he es damn fast and his cuts.. the best thing that happened thursday night.

I don't think Wes should, he's very small and even though he's tough it will take it's toll on him. I like the way he was in for a few series and then out as sort of a change of pace. I think he needs to be used on 3 and short more then anything because he's quick off the ball and teams will have to respect that we could be going to him or the back in the backfield. The more serious options we have on third and short the better for us.

i personally think booker is useless garbage, and i wish welker and hagan would pass him on the depth chart

i agree.

I would like to see us throw at least 6 passes to Welker every game. He has great hands and continually finds ways to get open. If we had a team of 53 Wes Welkers we'd be a DAMN good team!!!

ohhhhhh please

booker and chambers in our 1 and 2 receivers

wes is 3rd..and derek is 4th

keep wes on special teams..if you have wes starting and doing punt/kick return and he gets injuried...we will have noone returning kicks and punt returning

If Booker weren't so balls-out awesome and frankly even sort of wasting his talent as second option, Welker would absolutely have earned a starting spot on this team by now. As I have said several times over the last day or so, Wes Welker pisses excellence. The guy who said that if we had 53 Welkers, we'd be a great team is absolutely right. If everybody played like Wes, this team would be unstoppable.

It is becoming clearer and clearer to me that Nick is setting himself up to move Booker in the offseason. I'll be sad to see him go, but my guess is that Welker will continue to play well and Hagan will emerge. I don't know which one of them will start next year, but I think that's your clear top 3 on the 2007 roster when you add in Chambers (based on what we can tell right now about 2007, which admittedly isn't jack squat).
