That for the most part...a ton of people waver from week to week who should be the starting QB. Its hilarious. Last week....polls showed around 7 to 1 that people thought Feeley should start because Gus sucked. Now AJ has a bad game..and its cut Feeley..start Gus.

Can you imagine if any one of these people were the coach of our team?

Face the facts here..we have what we have. Both QB's are gonna look great a times...and they are gonna look bad at times. Both are gonna start a game this season. Feeley has talent..and it can be developed. Otherwise he wouldnt be here. Gus has talent..otherwise he wouldnt still be here at 36. I think we need to cut the both of them some slack and be patient.

Say what you want about Feeley. He will start this year..and I guarantee you..if he plays like he did against NE last year...we will be hearing..."we dont need to draft a QB..we have one"..and then the next week if he throws a pick we will hear...cut him now. If you dont believe me just read over your threads from the past few weeks.

Game planning is what wins games guys. We have yet to really see a full game plan..making adjustments etc.

Let me give you an example. Say Feeley starts this week. His first half numbers arent great..but he hasnt killed us. During the half time...coachs make an adjustment to the defensive schemes we are confronted with. Possibly the CB's are giving us alot of cushion. We start throwing some WR screens and short outs to bring them up. High percentage passes. Feeley goes on a streak hits 4 in a row. Safetys come up...play from the sideline is a post route for DB. Feeley hits him in stride..for 6. This is the result of gameplanning guys. The same could go for Gus.

Lets give our great coaces a chance to do something. Dont boo...we are all happy things are turning around. You boo a underachieveing team that doesnt try. We are gonna have some growing pains this season. But its gonna be fun watching how much we improve from week to week...as our coaches scheme and put us into position to make plays and win.

Saban's right..we have a responsibility as fans to support our team in a positive way. Lets do that by being patient and giving every one of our players a chance to excell.

cut 'em all! QB 1: Booker
QB 2: Welker

thatll teach em. and us too.

we can always find chris chandler somewhere.

Im going out on a limb and taking that as a huge dose of Sarcasim??? Right?? It is , isnt it.

I like the post man. Hell, I'll be in Florida for the game so I hope a better effort is made. I won't ever boo, just might talk **** to some fans. If we suck after we gameplan, then at least we'll be prepared for it!

And thats the greatest thing we can take from this season..we will know...that when we do lose...it will never be from lack of preperation.

Another example of coaches making a difference. Everyone remembers one of Marino's greatest highlights..where he fake spiked the ball in the meadowlands..only to turn and throw the winning touchdown. That play was called from the sideline. Was it a result of Marino being a great QB. No..hell Ill bet most of us could have completed that pass for a TD. It was a coach recognizing an oppurtunity and capitalizing on it. Thats the real difference between this year and last..we finally have coaches that can do that.

funny... the reciever said in an interview not to long ago that he looked at marino and his eyes lit up cause the corner wasnt playing him. they then knew to do it

I say all the growing pains should be with Feeley. Starting Gus doesn't benefit us at all.

It was not called from the sideline it was something Kosar had talked to him about earlier in that season. This information is not made up by me it was on NFL Films a couple of months ago.
