ROUND 1

Round 1 - Pick 1

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/MIA/miami-dolphins/
Justin Herbert QB
OREGON • SR • 6'6" / 237 LBS
PROJECTED TEAM
Miami
PROSPECT RNK
7th
POSITION RNK
2nd
Through three games, Herbert's completing 73 percent of his passes with 11 touchdowns and no interceptions -- and he's yet to complete fewer than 71 percent of his passes in any of those games. Through three games last season, Herbert completed just 57 percent of his throws -- and in two games didn't even hit 50 percent -- with 12 touchdowns and four interceptions. He was smart to return to school for his senior season and if he continues to play as he has thus far, he'll challenge Tua Tagovailoa to be the first QB drafted.
Round 1 - Pick 2

Andrew Thomas OT
GEORGIA • JR • 6'5" / 320 LBS
PROJECTED TEAM
Washington
PROSPECT RNK
8th
POSITION RNK
1st
Case Keenum has only been sacked twice in two games but starting Donald Penn at left tackle and Ereck Flowers at left guard is not a plan, especially while Pro Bowler Trent Williams continues to stay away. Meanwhile, Thomas is arguably the best offensive lineman in college football and he not only looks the part at 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, he plays like a dominant left tackle. Coming into 2019, Thomas has allowed just four sacks in two seasons at Georgia and he can take over in the run game.
Round 1 - Pick 3

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/CIN/cincinnati-bengals/
Tua Tagovailoa QB
ALABAMA • JR • 6'1" / 218 LBS
PROJECTED TEAM
Cincinnati
PROSPECT RNK
3rd
POSITION RNK

Andy Dalton looked good in Week 1, less so last week and the reality is that the Bengals will be in the market for a franchise QB at some point in the near future. Tagovailoa is undersized by traditional NFL standards but thanks to Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, his lack of ideal height won't prevent him from being among the first players taken.

Nah, I still think Tua is a lock, sans some crazy injury.

Now, wasn't there some reports last year Ross liked Herbert?

Right now Tua is the clear cut best QB in this class. However, I think someone will get nice QBs in Fromm or Herbert.

I'm not as obsessed as everyone else is over Tua. I actually think Fromm is much more of a Brady-esque fit for this system and perhaps even Josh Rosen, for that matter. Willing to wait and see, not getting worked up over anything this early in the process.

I don’t watch a lot of college football, but I do watch the big match ups and bowl games. Every time I have seen Fromm on a big stage he has been super underwhelming.

Outstanding idea!!!...let's put the two less accurate QB's in a system that depends on accuracy over the more accurate QB...Winning!!! the Miami way...

i think if Jalen keeps it up at ok he may the pick. he can atleast run. we need someone who can behind the line we have

not a fan of herbert tua is better in my opinion and if we have the one i would take tua. and just because cbs sports said we are taking herbert doesn't mean we are taking him. they dont even have to take a qb i hope they do but they don't have to

I get a Ryan Tannehill vibe with Justin Herbert. Talented, of course. But he doesn't look to be good under pressure. He seems too Tannehillesque in that dept. I'm not going to want to see that again, after having been frustrated watching that for 7 yrs. I'll pass!!! Now jordan Love is a whole other ball game for me. Talented, arm strength, pocket awareness and feel, a gifted runner. But unfortunately an unfinished and somewhat raw prospect at the moment. Lamar Jackson is the comp I have for Love, because he's of a similar build, albeit a better passer and with the same kind of insane athletic ability. If Jackson was as talented a passer as Love is at this stage; Jackson would have been a much higher selection. I agree about Fromm being a NE type QB.

I think its Tua, unless Miami and Cincinnati tie with 1-15 records and The Dolphins beat the Bengals.

If Miami has the #2 overall it could be Herbert.

Please don't ever reference CBSsports for anything draft related again. Once CBS' let their contract expire with Rob Rang & Dane Brugler they lost all draft credibility. Chris Trapasso & Ryan Wilson have no national contacts to front offices & scouts & are just plain awful. Have you seen their prospect rankings the past couple years. It's a joke. They are part of the media that hypes up players which doesn't reflect their true value.
