So who here had the pleasure of seeing him? I got to see him when my dad brought me to games. Those were the days, huh? Think we'll ever have a sideline superfan like that again?
 
Like you, I had the pleasure of going to home games as a kid and seeing him. Sometimes, I'd see him driving his truck on the road and we'd honk at one another as a friendly greeting.

I don't think we'll have someone at that level of infamy ever again. Granted, we have our share of "superfans," but his notoriety will never be matched (deservedly so).
 
Not only did I have the pleaseure of seeing Dolphin Denny hold Up His Card board Cheer signs and watch Him take a knee during each play.........But I also got a kick out of seeing Flipper throw back the footballs from His pool in the end zone at the Orange Bowl whenever there was a field goal...........
 
I got to meet Denny many times as my uncle was a good friend of his. I was actually given one of his "SUPER-FAN" hats ( he had quite a few ) as a gift when my uncle moved away from miami. I treasure it as one of my most valuable dolphin collectables.
 
i got to meet him once @ a Fan Select a Seat event (fins practice) at JRS.
I got the priviledge of a photo with Denny. What a fan he was, RIP Denny.
