Its hard being a Dolphins fan these days and I love 'em but you gotta be realistic about this upcoming season. Green will make us competitive for sure but with no running game a crappy O-Line and a weak secondary. I predict a 7-9 season. The defense with Porter and Taylor will keep the games close but the secondary will let us down. We'll be back in the playoffs contending in 2 years but for now we have to ride it out.Still gonna watch every game rooting for them. Green is an improvement bottom line.

This guy call himself a Dolphin fan, I have just about had it. First Ronnie Brown last year was not used to his full potential and he could very well had more then the 1,000 yards he got and while our o-line is not lights out it is serviceble. Man Im sick of all this negative remarks, and this goes for all the Trent Green doubters too. If you guys are not optimistic then why even be Fin fans. Im sorry but the thing that upsets me the most about being a Fin is our fans suck.....

I agree. And I am really sick of the Daunte Culpepper doubters too.

Sorry, it works both ways.

How can someone make claim that are offensive line is poor when they haven't played. There is 5 new starters in 5 diffrent posisitons.

You can claim it's a question mark(which it is), but you can't make the claim that it's poor right now.

We have a young o-line that I think can be quite decent this year. My man from the U is extra confindent, I talked to Vernon(that's my dawg) the other day and he said he's determined to lock that Left side up.

Just b/c you are a Dolphin fan means you have to fool yourself into thinking this is going to be a different season and everything is peaches and cream right? get real, this is a rebuilding season, we have an unproven O-Line, and a weak secondary, the bad running game is a product of the bad oline. This guy didn't state anything that isn't obvious.

I will keep my fingers crossed and hop to do better, but realistically I am not setting my expectations where I will be disappointed at the end of the season again.

We are not going to the Super Bowl. That does not mean we will not be improved. Our D is better, our special teams is better and we have to admit our O will be improved. New QB, WR, C, FB and 3rd down back.

yeah lets go around thinking we're going to win the superbowl every year when we havent made the playoffs in 5 years.

Go read any other fan board and you see the same type of stuff.

I really don't see why this bothers you so much.

The OL is still a question mark.
It has been for quite a while.
While we brought in some rookies with potential, they are still rookies that have yet to put on pads. We have legitimate concerns about the RT, G and C spots. Hell even LT is a concern as Carey's adjustment to that side brings an unknown to the mix there as well.

Secondary was weak as well last year so someone questioning whether it'll be a strong point or not is no reason for a temper tantrum.

QB is still a question mark as well even with Green as his age and concussion issues cast a small cloud over his acquisition.

Overall there is potential at all these positions to feel we'll be better this year.
Having said that, I can't see any legitimate reason to say fans that doubt these troubled spots still are being pessimistic.

Yea?...The HUGH difference is Your "Savior" has had he shot and FAILED miserably!! Time for him to go. I love it ..I've been waiting fot this since the fifth game of last season.

Sorry guys but I didn't think the oline was that bad last year...even though we had alot of new guys at new positions...once we got culpepper out of there they were fine...hell Ronnie got over a 1000 (And he had a game where he had 3 yards for the game) and he missed four games, so to say the running game sucked/sucks is truly gloom and doom.

You know, I've just about had it with guys like yourself, too.

Who do you think you are to question anyone's team loyalty because they don't agree with every single move the team makes, or they question a certain player, or a certain area of the team... especially an area of the team that DOES need improvement.

I'm not saying I agree with the original guy. In fact, I'll say that I'm very optimistic where the OL is concerned. Cam and Houck are taking the same exact steps in rebuilding the offensive line as they did in San Diego. The Chargers had a bad line, too a few years ago. They trimmed the fat, and started three rookies in one season. Now, their line is very good.

The same thing is happening in Miami now, and I expect a major improvement in that department this season. In fact, I'll go on record right now as saying you can bank on it. The offensive line will be much better this year.

However, I'm not about to question any fans loyalty just because they disagree with me, or disagree with particular moves the team makes, or may have a negative outlook in a particular area... especially when the particular area in question has been sup-par for YEARS. I understand their frustration. It's a PRODUCT OF BEING A LOYAL FAN.

The whole world is doom and gloom now. i do think we will win the super bowl every year, but i have supported them since 1966. I think it's better to think positive instead of always the worst! GO DOLPHINS

Positivity wins.....

Well he is allowed to have that opinon y'know. Besides even if we did have a crappy OL, no run game and a weak secondary, he says we'd go 7-9? Since that's better then last year, wouldn't you take it?

Could we be brothers? :D
