Keep in mind this is very early...

Round 1- Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville

Yes, he is young. But from all reports, he has wowed the coaches (and presumably the Scouts) at the Senior Bowl with his maturity and physical ability. In my ideal offseason, we resign Holliday but lose Truck, Zgonina and Wilkinson, so we do need to add a player for the interior Dline. Not sure if he has the bulk to play NT in our 3-4, but I know his weight at the Senior Bowl was far lower than expected/than in College.

Round 2- Lamar Woodley, DE, Michigan

Tremendous value, but one of the nation's best pass rushers is not getting much attention. Pretty early in the 2nd, he could very well be available. He will team with JT to rush the QB from the OLB spot, while also moving around quite a bit. In two rounds, we address the need for youth in the front seven. Both guys should be starters in year one, or with Okoye, at least a key member of the Dline rotation (depending on how many of Rod Wright, Manny Wright, Fred Evans and Kevin Vickerson show anything in TC).

Round 3- Dan Mozes, G/C, West Virgina

In his opening presser, Coach talked about building from the inside out, just as they did in San Diego with Nick Hardwick. Mozes could come in and play center, with Hadnot moving back to RG. Plays with some attitude and a lot of toughness, which is something I would like to see more of out of our offensive line. A smart guy, that should be able to learn pro defenses well enough to make the necessary line calls.

Round 4- Chansi Stuckey, WR, Clemson

The speed WR we were looking for, and has potential as a return man as well. Can stretch the field, bottom line, which is something Mueller is looking for.

Round 6- Jordan Palmer, QB, UTEPP

He has the physical ability, he just needs some coaching. His older brother's former QB coach may just be our new OC. A guy for Cam and his staff to develop as their own. Plus, its about time we draft a QB, and with Mueller leading the personnel department, it appears likely.

Round 7- Dedrick Harrington, LB, Missouri

Very good production, and in the seventh, decent value as a potential ST guy. Plus, I believe the overall depth at LB must be improved. Behind Pope, and perhaps Spragan (who may be resigned as a backup), there is not much there.

Keep in mind, I see us adding a playmaker at CB and a starting Olineman in free agency.

Jordan Palmer, AKA J.P. (ew...), will probably go early 2nd day just because of his name. I mean eli manning went first overall because of his name.

Im okay with Okoye, but i cant help but think we'd be passing on Jarrett, Ginn, or Hall with that pick.

Woodley might sneak into the 1st round because hes doing well at the senior practices. I'd want David Irons with the 2nd pick, especially if we go DL in the 1st.

You have a thing for under-sized linemen?

A pretty good mock. I like the Okoye pick, even though i'd like an offensive playmaker with our first pick. Also, i love the Woodley pick, if he's there! I really like the pick-up of Chansi Stuckey. He's a great player but had a subpar season due to his injury he had in the middle of the season. He's a former QB so we could use him for gadget plays like the Steelers did with Randel El. It's only, i believe, his 3rd season as a WR so he needs to improve on his route running, even though he has improved dramatically since he first moved from QB to WR.

I like Woodley in the 2nd, I like Stuckey also. I'm not that high on Okoye mainly because I don't think he fits the Dolphins system. I wouldn't mind Palmer, but I'd prefer Kolb or Stanton.

Thats not terrible, and i would run down from my soon to be seat at the draft to shake cam's hand if we found palmer in the 6th.

However, I think 13 is still a bit high for okoye and im not sure woodley makes it to the early 2nd consider the demand for that edge rusher position. I do like it for the most part though so good job.

But can woodley play the SOLB spot though.. I really like him in the second but we need to know if he has the speed to cover in passing downs

I dont think that with an offensive minded coach and an inept offense like Miami's that Miami will go Defense with their first 2 picks... Just my opinion

Okoye wouldn't play NT in anyone's 3-4, atleast not for several years. Keith Traylor went from a LB to NT in his career, maybe Okoye can too.

If we can only get Dan Mozes.

I think we need Oline more than Dline. I'm hoping for Brown in the 1st.

Don't see anyone on this list but Mozes as a possibility this year ...

Palmer, at least at this point, is showing poor arm strength -- so he could go undrafted ....

Do you work for Rick Spielman or Dave Wanstach? I mean Defense defense defense is all you put up there in the first two rounds?????? We need to build our offense through the draft and go after free-gents for the defense. Therefore your draft sucks.

Okoye is a good pick. I think it's between him, Ginn, and Levi Brown. (We need OL help, and LT are hard to come by) Hopefully we can trade down and still get him.

I like the Dedrick Harrington call. His teammate OLB Brian Smith wouldn't
surprise me in the 4th either.

I don't like all of the picks, or even think all of the guy will go in those rounds, but if this is our draft, what do we do in free agency?
