Here is my Off-season: We have money to spend so we will dish some out but not to much.

First off free agency:

Carlos Dansby ILB- I feel this isn’t a position we really need but we wouldn’t mind an upgrade. I like ayodele but we need a better ILB. Dansby would complement Crowder well.

Casey Hampton DT- I would love furgeson back but with his age and recent injury he might not play much longer. Paul solai isn’t a good back up so this position is a huge need! Im not for sure if a good DT will be avaluble 2nd round.

Malcolm Floyd WR- We are not trading for a WR because draft picks are to valuable is a big tall WR so he maybe just what we need. He is the only WR in free agency worth grabing. I don’t think we use are first on a WR.

That’s all for free agency.

DRAFT:

1.Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas- With ILB and DT taken care of. Also I think Chris Clemons will take over the FS spot. Kindle is like a Cam Wake maybe a bit bigger. This will really help the pass rush with Wake, Kindle, Taylor and Porter!

2. Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama- This is a pick most think will not be here in the 2nd round but I think a lot of teams are going to be hesitant to draft him so he slides to us.

3. Dexter McCluster, WR, Ole Miss- He can play HB and WR. Great speed but most importantly he is a football player not just a speed guy like Ginn. Excellent Wildcat player.

4. Sean Lee, ILB, Penn State- I know this pick and the second pick are positions we addressed in free agency but they add depth and youth and that’s what we need.

5. Kam Chancellor, S, Virginia Tech- big tall S good depth guy for aging position.

6. Andrew Quarless, TE, Penn State

7. Chris DeGeare, OG, Wake Forest

I did have a chance to see McCluster three times this year. That guy is amazing.

Moving him to receiver is an interesting idea. He's the most explosive player I've seen in the last ten years.

I didn't know he was a senior.

He would also fill a need at Kick and punt return.

He would be a great playmaker!

Floyd alone is gonna cost between $20-30M,you add in Hampton(possibly this past decades best NT) and Karlos Dansby, who will be the most sought after linebacker this of-season.I think theres a possibilty of getting 1 of them, but Miami has stayed commited to builing through the draft, than signing big name players in the off-season.

what about trying to make a deal for Sidney Rice anyone think the vikes would give him up for Ginn lol

I liked Dansby but Zona's D folded big time in the playoffs. What does that say about their leader? I think Hampton is a no brainer and I would assume we picked Butler's brain on how good he was. I can't see Pitt letting him go but they are pretty cheap and usually don't get into a bidding war. Of all the FA's listed he would be #1. It all starts with the NT!

I guess we are going to make a Jets-like free agency? No thanks. If we sign a big name free agent, it'll either be Karlos Dansby or Vince Wilfork. Dansby is the more likely of the two in my opinion.

Steelers already said Hampton "is at the top of their list" to sign in the offseason. He wont be a FA.
