### We hear Jared Odrick apologized to Dolphins teammates for creating a distraction after he lost his temper during Sunday’s game and yelled at Joe Philbin.
Odrick was upset because defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers blamed him for something he didn’t believe was his fault and got under Odrick’s skin, though the two have a generally good relationship.
### Despite allowing four sacks on Sunday, we're told Dallas Thomaslined up with the starters at right tackle in practice on Tuesday, and the coaching staff inexplicably remains more comfortable with Thomas than Jason Fox, at least for now.
### Samson Satele said Mike Pouncey “saved my career. I’m thankful for him moving to guard and I told him that.”
But despite Satele’s good work this season and Pouncey’s selflessness, Pouncey has been far less productive at guard than center.
Pouncey has allowed three sacks, yielded the most quarterback hurries per snap of any guard in the NFL and ranks 73[SUP]rd[/SUP] of 80 guards, per Pro Football Focus. No wonder Pouncey wants to return to center eventually, likely next season.

There has got to be something up with Jason Fox and the coaches that is being kept from the public.

If you could see me right now I'm pulling a Mike Singletary in my TV room. Dropping my pants concerning Dallas Thomas...cannot play with him, cannot win with him...I'm not having it.

late shifts and motion mean we can't play no huddle huh...:bobdole:

keep playing dallas thomas and tannehill will be on ir...this stuffs rediculous now...

i'm done with philbin...

Fox must have grudge f***ed one of the staff's daughters. Dallas Thomas is terrible.

Just about every beat writer, along with all of us fans, just keep shaking our heads over this one. The coaching staff is being so stubborn over this to a point where it makes no sense. I was trying to come up with any reason for this. Maybe they want him to keep playing so there 100 percent sure he needs to be replaced next year and they already know Fox is struggling in practice and is gone for good in a few weeks? That's the best I can think of and even that doesn't make a lot of sense.

The fact that @PFF rates Philip Wheeler as the Dolphins' best LBer is hilarious, & evidence that their rating system is tremendously flawed.

Totally unrelated to thread topic but as long as we're on topics of things that don't add up.

We have weak coaches that foster weak players. D.Thomas would have been
benched so fast in NE it aint funny. Where the hell is holding a player accountable? Hell
Odrick would be inactive going into NE....

coaches have created a soft culture with this team...soft

No ****, those are the exact types of things that make the no huddle even more effective by confusing the defense and leading to broken coverages and missed gap assignments. His playing everything safe is really getting borderline OCDC. He always looks at different aspects/scenarios of the game in the worst light instead of how they could become a positive. Very Sparano-ish in that regard. At somepoint you need to trust that your players will make plays and let go of the reigns.
