will be seeding them continuously...

where are those great games of the past i've heard so much about? i want the redskins game from last year and the dallas game from last year....

also the raiders game from two-three years ago where fiedler torched them!

If it doesnt play there is a program called DivFix
Here is a link for DivFix.

http://divfix.maxeline.com/divfix.html

Note:please make a copy of the original file before you attempt this. What it does is remove the original index and replaces it with another
divfix_208-1.jpg

I have to go out for a few hours. If it doesnt get resolved I will remove the torrent, make a new torrent file and upload it again. Those with unfinished files can still get to 97.7 pct.

Kenny,Jax,Pilot,Answer Tex please take over.

What are your specs for creating the torrent files?

No name given because it was a PM.

That's me. I've got the following....(all wins, natch)

SB7 & SB8 (poor quality)
1982 Jets AFC Championship
1984/85 Steelers AFC Championship
1985 Bears MNF
1993 Cowboys "Leon Lett" game
1994 Jets "Clock Play"
1994 Chiefs wild-card game vs Montana
1999 Broncos MNF, whipping B.Griese

& a bunch of others. I know I've got P.Manning's first NFL game, where we smacked them around, but it's still on tape...

I've got the 2001 Raiders & the 2003 Cowboys -- both pretty good quality.

go to bittorrent.com and get this program that downlads them then retry
I downloaded the bittorrent program, downloaded Divx, but its just sitting at the 0% waiting for peer connection.....its been trying for over 2 hours....shouldnt I see something yet?

I restarted the cpu so not sure....crap. Any ideas?

OK, I'll start a new one today & leave the PC on 24/7 for a while, but tell me this:

- I've got the 2003 Cowboys ***-whuppin' already on my PC. It's DVD format, at nearly 3.8GB.

-Does everyone prefer that level of quality (I do), or should I convert it to Divx first before creating the torrent file...?

I have hi-speed connection and its on 24/7....

question...

I have the small dialogue box open showing 0% waiting for peer....do I need to leave the bittorrent website up as well?

I wouldnt think so, but since these boxes have not budged from 0% I am willing to try anything.

thoughts?

Personally I prefer a 2 CD Divx format, about 1.4GB would be cool. That way you don't lose much quality but the size is substantially smaller, and if people want to convert back to DVD format they can... it will make the downloading faster and the sharing easier. Just my opinion.

No you do not. Do you know if you have a firewall? It should start connecting right away, it's usually slow but picks up speed.

firewall turned off.....I was able to start downloading a movie last night, so I know its capable of working...but no FINS games are even budging...its so weird.

Do we have any FTP site set up to simple grab an already downloaded file from??

No we don't have any FTP sites setup. Not sure if there's a problem with the torrent... CrunchTime would have to look at that.
