Dolphin "Classic" Games torrent thread

I'm at 99% for the Pats game and 33% for the Cowboys... each are d/l ing at about 6-7 KiB/s using BitTorrent. Is'nt this slow??? I'm u/l'ing the Cowboys at 20-25 KiB/s. I have a good DSL connection (256/1.5) that usually runs fast, any ideas how to speed things up? What speeds do you guys get?

the problem is no one is staying on to seed the games after they download them... they just download them and quit.

the cowboys game only has 2 "completed" seeds (myself and i am assuming crunch), and 15 peers! it would really help us if some of you guys would stay on to help seed the cowboys game, especially since it is such a large file size and so many people are grabbing it.

the Pats game has 5 seeds and 7 peers...

i am capping the uploads at 100 kB/s now, which is about as much as i can give to Bittorrent without interferring with the rest of my internet activities.... that 100 has to be divided between the hawks game, the NE game, and the dallas game.... a total of 24 people i guess i am seeing grab from me, hence your slow speeds...

guys it would really help us if some of you would stay on with the seeding... i KNOW there has to have been more than just two of us finish d/ling the cowboys game!

EDIT: i just upped my U/L speed caps to help speed up the process, but it will require me to vacate my computer for awhile.... i'll turn it back down tonight, so get what you can now!

Patience is a virtue especially dealing with torrents.The last few bits always seem eternal.Dont worry it will finish.There are five seeders on that torrent which should be enough but most of them are also loading the Cowboys game which is dividing the Bandwidth available to you.
 
BTW Tex I am only at 40 pct with the Cowboys game .The answer is the only other who has finished along with you.Icestorm is at 72 pct.So we need the two seeders who have finished to keep seeding until we get more completions.

ah, so its just a case of a flooded torrent... so many grabbers, not many people finished.

well hope yours goes well... mine's been done for over a day now and i have already watched the burned DVD on my big screen... definitely will be worth the wait for you guys!

No Prob, wasn't bitching. Just curious b/c i thought I read where other people were getting much higher. I'm in no hurry...

I got the pats and AWESOME!!! The quality is great! I'll leave it open to seed...

Can someone seed the phins / browns divix, i'm at like 80%...

at the time i was getting speeds of near 200k, i believe there were only 3 peers... in the last day or two that has jumped to 15.

i don't know who i was getting it from at 200k, as i have never seen speeds like that again with the client. it was almost as if i was downloading it from a website...

I have been seeding the Browns game all along but dont have much BW available.Maybe someone else can help.

ok now i am seeding Browns, Hawks, Pats, and Cowboys 2003 games.... anything else needed to be seeded?

Im Seeding Men!! Actualy i have been seeding since it has finished this morning. Just leting you know im here for ya ;)

i wonder who the other peer is then.. the one that allowed me to grab at speeds of 200k yesterday, the one that allowed me to download it in several hours.

at that time there was someone else then. thanks for staying on though to help seed.

if you and i are both seeding, who is the original guy that put it up and is he still seeding? i am only seeing 2 seeds.

FYI since i added the browns game to be seeded, it lowered the speeds even more on the cowboys game... sorry guys! :D
 
My brother downloaded the game and it's now seeding on his system. I haven't had a chance to check my PC, but It should be done and seeding as well. I'll tell my brother to leave it seeding as well.
