Dolphin Fans Are Crazy Dumb Or Drunk

We Will go 10-6 and get the last wildcard spot. Last season we had everything go wrong with our team. it was beyond bad luck. I have never seen a team have that much turmoil in every facet of the team. Most teams in the leauge with the exception of 1 or 2 would drop tremendously with a couple or a few key losses due to injury or quiting. I see everyone write about the chargers great turn around last year but nobody mentions the other team from last year that had a better turn around. The Steelers went from 6-10 to 15-1. 2 teams in one year, the steelers were basically the same team as the year before. They drafted a key addition, didnt have the injuies and look what they did. Last year we had basically the same team except Ricky and our o-line, which has played together a year now and will be better with better coaching. We have better coaching and barring several injuries we will be 10-6. it is possible we could end up 8-8 or 9-7. But it is just as possible with a few breaks we could be 11-5 or 12-4 not likley but possible. Our team was much better than our 4-12 record last year. This team wont quit on Saban like they did Wanny.

I WILL GO ON RECORD, WE WILL BE 10-6 THIS SEASON.

Better coaching gets us at least 2 more wins, Ricky, ronnie and Lamar get 2 more wins, A healthy Boston and a real offenseive system and a unpredictable Defense = 2 more wins. Plus the intangilbe they are playing for a coach they believe in and they have something to prove. Why not?

Qb's my man, qb's.

Gus will be the starter and he has proven he can play, He will be like Gannon and have a couple good years, I think we will draft a qb next year to groom. We will benifit because he knows the O.

Qbs will be the Bills main problem this year. If losman pans out they could be decent. If not, you will wish you had Bledsoe back.

Megatron, I don't know you from adam, but i'm hoping i misunderstood your post. I was a fan every day of last year and it sucked. I've been a fan for a while now, through thick and thin. If you want to argue semantics on a football forum, add an asterik on your comments. Otherwise, don't make narrow-minded, speculative remarks.
Re-read your own post before you go judging me.:)

Ohhh no. No matter what happens, I mean any situation, I would never wish for Bledsoe to be back. You underestimate how truly terrible he actually was.

Although I believe we will go 9-7 or 10-6, to suggest that we cant go 12-4 is crazy. Yes, a long time ago the NFL was set up for such turn arounds to be almost impossible. But, now a days teams are too close to each other talent wise that such turn arounds are possible. It has happened.

Too many factors go into how a season plays out. Injuries, timing, player development, schedule, etc. How do the pats play if Brady suffers a season ending injury in week one? How do we play if AJ or Gus suck? Or if either one plays like Drew Brees did last season? We could play a couple of tough games when the other team has key players hurt and get some unexpected wins. There are just too many factors that go into a season to speak in definites.

some of you guys are on crack to think we'll bounce right back from where we were last season. we still have a QB issue which is as serious as they come. Frerotte couldn't even start in Denver and he's going to start for us? Feely did nothing last season but make bad decisions and you all think he's the second coming.

Seriously, the QB situation needs to be addressed before we can even hope to make a serious run at the wildcard.

The AFC as a whole is just way too tough for that kind of turnaround.

I'm not on crack and I understand the QB problem. If Bates would have coached all year we would have one more games.

Last season we:

lost 1 game by 1 pts
lost 2 games by 3 pts
lost 1 game by 6 pts
lost 3 games by 7 pts

you don't think we haven't improved enough to cover most of those games? Coaching alone, let alone having our players back healthy, ricky & ronnie haven't quit yet, Boston's yet to blow out a knee, we probably won't be working on RB #5 by game 3, whether you like our starting DTs or not....both probably won't be out for the season within the next 2 months, the list goes on and on.

You need to take a step back and see why we were so bad last year and realize that even with the same team....but healthy and a good RB and better play calling we'd have a better record. So yeah...I expect us to "bounce back" to at least a .500 season if not better. Playoffs...? maybe hoping too much in a tough division but better odds at that then a lot of other things...

New England news. Ted Johnson just retired. Bruschi is out. They have plenty of LB's but none that are seasoned like these guys. Our coaching alone will make us better X ten. Im not saying we will be 12-4. What I am saying is that if a team expects to come into dolphins week with a simple W, teams have another thing coming. Saban is already talking about being prepared for the fourth quarter, in shape wise. that is the ticket to me. Execution is all that is left. make no doubt about it, This team has as much talent as anyone else, it will all come down to if we have 2 QB's who can play in the system, our injuries to key positions like CB/S, and how much better our OL actually is. I am completely not worried about our DL or LB or RB or WR.

two very key words there for you and me, "coaching alone". There can be no doubt about that now.

Anything is possible, look at history.

The only people on crack are the people who are such losers that their negativity rules them.

I don't think anyone expects a huge season, but it certainly is possible.
