Dolphin fans sit down?WTF!!!

There really needs to be a workshop or intervention or something at the stadium with the average Dolphin "fan". In Seattle that average "fan" would have their season ticket privileges revoked and they would be summarily impaled upon the Space Needle for conduct detrimental to the 12th man. Do these people not watch the NFL on TV????... do they not see how electric some of these stadiums get? In Seattle you could power the entire Northwest off that sh!7!!!!! I've been a fan since 1973, this TEAM is STRONGER TOGETHER than it has been in FOREVER, and that most certainly applies to the fans too. ROCK THE HOUSE NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE!!!!!!!! DO NOT LET ALLOW ANYONE TO TELL YOU TO SIT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, look on the bright side: Dolphin fans were making some serious noise on Sunday even without a totally full stadium.

Imagine what it will sound like totally packed out and jacked!

I was proud of the fans on Sunday, btw. Sounded great for how many were there.

Keep on doing what you do bro! Dolphins need fans like you in the stands not ones that sit on their bums and take notes. Also the next home game vs KC is aqua out, Dolphins are giving away aqua t-shirts to all and want everyone to wear aqua.

Fly me down for it. Last two games I attended were vs the pats and vs the pats. We know how that turns out. Hell, of the 25 Charlotte Bobcats games I went to live we won 22. Tell me I'm not good luck.

I was asked to sit twice during game.....I didn't. It boggles my mind how people don't understand that you need to get loud while we are on defense....especially on third down. And, you better believe I'm going to stay standing during crucial and intense situations.

Thanks. I'll certainly be voicing this concern thru a multitude of avenues. 1) phone call. 2) e-mail. 3) personal letter.

I did all 3, and I suggest EVERYONE on here do the same

I understand it both ways. Sometimes it's great when everyone is standing and cheering prior to a key moment of the game, but for older fans or kids it sucks because they can't see what's going on.

Survival of the fittest? :idk:

Hate to add to the dogpile, but this happened to me too in SunLife last year at the Ravens game. Some irate Raven fan behind me complained manically to security about my standing. After he was done ranting, I calmly walked over to security and explained that I was being fully respectful of other fans, that I paid for my tickets and I'm going to stand on 3rd downs. He nodded, it was clear the security guy didn't want to get involved, so maybe count me as lucky. Mind you, I was there WITH my best friend: a Ravens fan!

Just wish Sturgis has stuck that botched kick and pushed us to OT, with a win I could have given a smug "have a good night" to that douchehole. Maybe I'll see him again on December 7th ;)

That's great point to be made. Being passionate, loud and up out of your seat while still be respectful can go a long way with security and those around you. I have no doubts that once they receive such complaints they'll be looking from afar to observe that your behavior isn't disruptive in maintaining a family atmosphere. My guess is if you're out of hand, observably drunk and using swear words stadium security will not use much leniency in their ability to remove you as a nuisance.

Speaking of buffalo I took my 2 sons there a couple years ago to a season opener. I paid 800 plus to get front row tickets behind the dolphins bench at 45 yard line. It was the first dolphin game I took my boys to so payed little extra to get right up front. I was told numerous times by security on the field to sit down. I was pissed off and we stood up as much as we could without being thrown out. It was bullchit.

Welp brother that is an extreme joke of Buffalo then. I have been to the last 12 Miami games in Buffalo and have dealt with worse. They should be worried about the fights, vulgar language, throwing of things and other things that joke of a fan base does. Feel bad ya dealt with that.

I wouldn't let anyone tell me not to stand at a 'Fins game, especially with all the money poured into it...oh man, and if it was a damn opposing fan....

I just had a thought--maybe Belichick went into his bag of tricks and had some of his own guys pose as ushers to go around telling fans to sit down and be quiet..

That is f***** asinine. Me and my girl were in sec 153 sober as the pope and were going absolutely nuts on 3rd and 4th down on defense, especially when Brady was near us. If someone came up and told me to be quiet or sit down I woulda clocked his f***** a**. That's half of the reason I buy tickets so close to the field, so I can get as loud as I want and help MY TEAM any way I can.

F*** those people making complaints, get out and stay out, especially if they were Pats fans. I had no voice on Monday and wouldn't have had it any other way.
