It's clear to me that Ryan Tannehill is the guy that produces the most emotion and outright passion in Dolphin fans. Without RT to debate (argue about) nothing comes close to producing the sheer drama of the Ryan Tannehill era. I don't know how to feel about Jay Cutler. My wife's family is from Chicago, it's a huge family, and not one of them had a good thing to say about Cutler when I visited recently. I saw a guy with rookie mechanics throwing off his back foot all day who is supposed to be a polished veteran who has been to the Pro Bowl. I want to root for him for the sake of my Dolphins but I need to see a different offense in London. There are no excuses in the NFL but the Dolphin team and Dolphin fans have been through 5 seasons of craziness in 2 games. We lost our franchise QB, the guy who was going to light it up this year. On top of that we lose our rookie MLBer Rakeem McMillan and really, the team has been in a whirlwind for weeks. The hurricane has made a massive impact on our season and maybe a trip over the pond will be good medicine. Brees should kill us. Is there a single reason why he won't pick us apart? There is no reason I can see. I hope the offense comes to play and the team comes out with passion and comes home with a win somehow. If things keep going south what will keep the fans excited? It's early but the Jets loss put pressure on the team to start a win streak. Timmons is back!!! I did state in two earlier posts that Gase thinks he can beat the Jets without Timmons but he'll be back for the London game. I guess Gase was wrong about the Jets game but the difference in that game wasn't Timmons, it was everything. There's so much wrong with the Jet's game let's put it in the rear view mirror and right the ship in London. I'm rooting for you Cutler!!!!!!

We as Dolphins' fans feel specially snake bitten, but there's nothing unique going on here. Every team fights through injuries, every team fights through personnel dissent (Timmons). Irma costing us a bye week is another challenge. Point being, good organizations overcome these challenges.

Only time will tell on this team, but I have to believe there is better football ahead. We saw a bunch of upsets in the league last week. That's because the margin between winning and losing in the NFL is so thin. I haven't given up on this team because at least Gase is honest enough to admit the problems.

Good points A.J. I'm so sorry if my post was a bit rambling but that's how you feel when your head is spinning. I just want the season to settle down to some normalcy already.

Dude!! Normal??? This has been the normal for the dolphins, the last twenty years...

TLDNR. Respectfully.

That wasn't very nice. He had actually a few good points. Maybe next time he could use paragraphs but he is just expressing himself like the rest of us.... Respectfully!!!

Never understood why people do this. If you didnt read, why did you take the time to state it and post a message. Just hit the back button like everyone else.

well said...Really the only thing to do as a fan besides pi** and moan is look forward to next game. Last year this team turned around precisely at the point where i was like "screw it, they're crappy"

I recall it clearly because we were playing the Steelers. I said "i'm not going to waste a Sunday watching this garbage". Well it turned out it was on local TV for once, so hey, might as well watch in uninterrupted HD...so gave them a quarter to see what might happen.....

point being, anyone that says they know how the season, let alone next game will play out, should be in vegas killing it.

There is much that is lacking with the '17 Fins. From the coaching to the players, it is less than good. This is an up and down team. We are up last year heading into the playoffs, down when Ryan and our playoffs went out the window. We're up to start the with an experienced Cutler who knew Gase and the offense, then we're down after a baffling lossin NY.

In my opinion, the only thing that can get me hyped again is if the next 2 games resulted in wins. A London win, and a win at our opener. I can't do a win against NO and then a loss after. To me, that means this team isn't serious. Again, just my thoughts.
