Mon, 17 Apr 2006 20:13:25 -0700
Ethan Skolnick, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports new Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey is very comfortable implanting the "Dolphins System," which was created by his predecessor Scott Linehan, now head coach of the Saint Louis Rams. Mularkey, who brings more of a physical style of offense to the Dolphins, describes the "System" as having "a scheme philosophy and a how you attack philosophy." "I think how we attack; obviously, I have different ways of doing it than Scott." Mularkey specifically said when referring to a vertical passing game, "It's got to be in your arsenal, but I don't know if you going in thinking that's the only way we're going to win a game is we're throwing the ball downfield."
Dolphins | Capers excited by opportunity
Mon, 17 Apr 2006 20:14:51 -0700
Ethan Skolnick, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins special assistant Dom Capers is looking forward to his opportunity to just focus on being an assistant coach. Capers feels he can develop more close relationships with his players as an assistant rather than a head coach. He also thinks his eight-years of head coaching experience will serve the Dolphins well, "To me, experience is the best teacher for any of us."
Dude is this the only thing we are gonna know till the draft!
