Under is pretty safe on the Lions, Jim Schwartz is a knob. Plus if you're lucky the line could drop to 6 or something if Stafford blows his shoulder out in preseason.
 
Just checked 5dimes. They don't even have team over/unders up. I am disappoint.

I read your summaries and couldn't disagree with either one. A week or so ago somebody who writes a betting column claimed he saw an 8.5 on the Lions. We went looking for it but either it was swooped up or never existed.

I don't have many opinions on the over/unders because I don't study them as much anymore. I prefer plug and play systems. In the '90s the books put these out earlier and made more blatant mistakes. My friends and I got a bit spoiled. I think I've mentioned that we used to play as many as a dozen of them. Nowadays there are several sites that publish the projected win total based on the early pointspread of every game. The over/unders quickly get bet toward that number. One friend of mine specialized in projecting the win totals based on spreads so we had an early advantage. Now it's gone.
 
Lions and Cards also doing well. I mention that because common sense said Arizona, but numbers said the Lions. I'm actually a bit surprised about the Cards because the argument against was they'd be in a very tough division and that has indeed been the case. And yet, there they are.
