i don't know if anyone came across this but it was in yesterdays miami herald...in the florida sports buzz column by barry jackson...it said that nick saban doesn't know who's gonna be the #3wr but the dolphin players are impressed with kelly campbell's speed...it says there is nobody out there on the open market and he used roddy white as an example...i think kelly campbell will win the #3 wr position because he has the speed and he played with culpepper before...

whether it's Hagan or Campbell we will have a good option in the slot

the column said its between hagan, campbell and wes welker...and we also got the kid out of auburn in the 7th round but i don't remember his name...

Because of his familiarity with Pep and his speed and experience I would think Campbell has the edge on everyone else for the No 3 spot.

Hagan is a rookie and like all rookies he will have to learn the ropes before he becomes a factor.

It wont be due to a lack of effort.Hagan is one of those type of players who has very good work habits and will stay after practice to watch films and study the playbook.

Thanks for the tidbit from a source that doesn't show up in the news items. You can never coach speed! I think the battle for third receiver will be an exciting and interesting one.

Aromashodu, he's really good but with all the talent we have at WR he may not make the team. I'm pulling for him. I think he's just as fast as Campbell could be wrong but bottom line is he's really fast

Devin Aromashodu, WR, Auburn, 6'-2", 204, currently issued number 19

Weve got Chambers for the speed and Booker is no slouch when hes got the ball. Hagan should IMO be our 3rd if he brings what he did at collegiate level with him to Miami. Cambell hasnt proved hes a 3rd WR just yet but its all competition so it makes for a better WR corp.

This is good stuff! Seriously, competition should bring out the best in all of these guys. I LOVE IT!!!

If Campball has such outstanding speed, why would he play the slot? Wouldn't it be better if he were our #2 receiver? (If he beats out Booker of course) This would give us the ability to stretch the field even more.

Just because he's fast doesn't mean he's good. I've only seen him in limited action so I have no idea how good his hands are. Booker is a proven, solid #2.

I think its the YAC we would be looking at.Thats something our existing WRs have not been very good at , perhaps because our recent QBs have not been very accurate.

I love the competition, let the best man win. Don't care who it is as long as he's fast and can catch the ball consistently. We now have two QB's who can get them the ball accurately, and down field!

In Saban We Trust!

Booker had something like the second or third best YAC for a WR in the league
