Dolphin Stadium Renderings???

I remember reading about the new contruction going on at Dolphin Stadium about a month ago in the Palm Beach Post...( I think ). Joe Bailey said there would be renderings of the finished product coming out in July. Does anyone know when the Dolphins are going to release some artist renderings of the new contruction at the stadium? Bailey talked as if the renovations were really going to be something special. I want to see those renderings!!! :tantrum:

YOU don't want to see the artist renderings?? You don't want to see what the finished product will look like? Or are you just mocking the lack of responses to this thread??:confused:
 
I'd completely forgotten about these, good post. I'd really like to see them as well!
 
Good question. I would like to see them also. I went to the Miami Dolphins Homepage and the only thing I found was the time lapse construction link as it is being built. I think they are working on the main entrance now.

I could swear that I've already seen those.

:hmmm: I may be thinking of the renderings of the "SuperBowl" stadium that they were going to build....nm
 
I guess I'll see them in Sept when Buffalo comes to town, unless you're talking about something totally different
 
no, there is construction going on right now on one side of the stadium...although i bet the rendering would include the big screens in them!

I think he meant you were the only one who remembered hearing about them.

I remember it as well. There was a news story hear about it.
 
wayne is dumping like 230 million of his own $$ into the stadium to make it one of the best in the league (supposedly) ....should be done by the 2010 superbowl i believe.
 
While I dont know about the renderings, I have been to Dolphins Stadium on business a couple times (including lunch IN the Fins locker room which was AMAZING) in the last couple weeks and I can tell you that the renovations at the stadium will be incredible when done. The Hi-Def screens are unreal, the new electronic loop around the stadium (instead of the rolling advertising and light bulbs) is cool as hell, and they are widing BOTH long sides of the stadium. That stadium is going to be world class when it is finally done!!

These are the ones that Huizenga showed when he was proposing the "Supersite" but, since that idea didn't completely pan out, I don't know if anything has changed.....

Thanks Seminole. It's great to know that Wayne is spending money to ensure that the stadium remains one of the best around. I suppose he must spend for renovations to stay in the hunt for as many Super Bowls as he can get for South Florida. The stadiums being built in other cities sure are fabulous nowadays. The Super Bowl rotation idea was a fantastic idea by the Dolphins braintrust, but I don't feel that it will ever become reality....IMO....too many promises have to be made to other cities for building facilities. By the way, the article I read about the new construction at Dolphins Stadium was in the South Florida Business Journal....not the Palm Beach Post.

I believe that those renderings were to be made IF the Dolphins were granted the Super Bowl every three years. I believe that the stadium designs are different now. I could be wrong....it wouldn't be the first time!!:D I DO know that Joe Bailey said there would be renderings out in July....Where are they Joe????
