Does anybody know if the Marlins are going to be getting their own stadium? Or if there is a chance of them moving the franchise? I am sick of looking at pictures and watching games with that dirt infield. How about they go play in Orlando, Jax, or go share with the Rays. It's not like they are the MIAMI Marlins.
just something else to talk about other than Lavar and who we should take with our 1st pick.

lol, i ttlly agree on that, in my case i can't go to the stadium due to the distance i live from it.. like hundred thouthands km. and wheneva i watch phins game it sucks to have a field with dirt on it... it looks like unpro.. i mean, its nfl... highest level there is!!! (i live in Uruguay, yeah, far down on the map)

As of what I heard recently, the Marlins could be heading to Las Vegas in a near future. I know Jeffrey Loria's way of doing things being from Montreal. He did the same thing with the Expos. He wanted a new stadium paid by the government and if not, he will be heading somewhere else. All the time he was here, he was threatning to leave if he didn't have a new stadium. They are looking at Virginia but Vegas seems to be the place he wants to go.

I heard Red McCombs might move them to San Antonio...the problem is no cities want to foot the bill to build baseball stadiums anymore...Portland basically said NO....I doubt Vegas would welcome them either...there are better things to do in most of these cities.

What is better to do in Portland...watching a t blazers game is like watching cops lol. Only much much sadder :(

Where ever you heard las vegas, is TOTAL BULL****. San Antonio has offered them 200 mil for a stadium but they have to buy their own land i believe, but they are also in talks with the city of Hialeh (sp>?) There is supposingly a race track that they have offered to the marlins, all thats left is the funding which there still in talks about. Again I repeat Las Vegas is TOTAL BULL****

i really dont care where the marlins go as they long as they get there soon. that infield is killer in the beginning of the season.

I find it insane that a team who won 2 World Series Championships in the past 10 years can be gone out of Florida when there are teams who haven't won **** since the 1910's, and some haven't won ANYTHING at all.

There were talks about building a stadium in Hialeah, which is around here North of Miami (by the Medley area), but I just don't know where they may be headed. They are called the Florida Marlins, not Miami Marlins. So they can move anywhere in the state, I just hope it's not too far from Miami.

that's what I'm sayin, just go somewhere. I don't care if it is the local little league field.

You guys have a pretty crappy attitude towards a fellow Miami sports team. Especially one that has actually had success in recent years. Yes of course I'd like the Marlins out of Dolphins Stadium, but I certainly don't want them to leave Miami. I may not enjoy baseball, basketball, or hockey nearly as much as I love football, but I still wish the absolute best for our local teams.

The Marlins could go to Dover, Delaware for all I care. Not all of us are from Miami. However, I do respect your opinion and why you support your local teams. In Iowa, we don't have any professional local teams. Not since New York bought our Barnstormers  . (Which I will say Arena football is awesome to watch, and Warner and Garcia were great to see). I would like to see the Marlins gone because every year that baseball field does something to mess up a game.
