9:51 PT: The Miami Herald reports Miami Dolphins LB Zach Thomas (back/neck) was reassured by Dr. Robert Watkins, a back and neck specialist, that the injury problem he had late in the year won’t be an issue this year. Thomas said the injury was basically like whiplash; it was just a bone bruise and takes about six months to heal.

I think Draper is going to be missing a lot of practice come fall. lol.
 
Couldn't agree with you more. I was inteagued by the pick last year, but now it looks like a complete bust. Changing systems completely screws Draper. With Gailey here, big blocking TEs were vogue(no idea why....hehe) but now we NEED pass catchers alittle more than just blockers.

I am finding it disheartening that McMichael seems to be dropping all kinds of balls. I know it is early, but without the pads and no hitting, you think pass cathing would be a little easier.

Alas, it is early, too early to be worrying!
 
I think he (McMichael) might be trying too hard. To his left he sees Jed Weaver - the starter. On his right, he sees Alonzo Mayes coming on like a freight train. I wouldn't be suprised if he's pressing a little bit, trying to make an impression as well as try to get comfortable. We'll find out.
