forget salary cap hits for the moment, who are the must have dolphins for 2010

Henne, Entire starting OL, R Brown, Hartline, Bess, Camarillo

Ferguson, Crowder, V Davis, S Smith, C Wake, Carpenter and Fields

maybe Merling, and Langford

am i leaving anybody out??
 
Fergie is expendable if we have any shot to land Casey Hampton or Vince Wilfork

Crowder, Porter, Ayodele, Gibril Wilson, Yeremiah Bell are all expendable

Ted Ginn, Jason Allen and Reggie Torbor need to be shown the door with their huge contracts
 
might not have left anybody out....but you added to many. RB is far from untouchable....and someone on our O-line is getting traded....I dunno who, but there is no reason to be platooning players in and out the way we were unless they were experimenting to see who was expendable.

Justin Smiley may prove himself expendable with the emergence of Nate Garner, though I like Smiley and think he's the guy for the position

Do some research before you post. Ginn is due $1mil next season, which is peanuts in comparison.

Allen - 1.2 mil....a little high for a ST'er but not outrageous.

Torbor - 3 mil....too much for a backup.

It's not so much their contracts as is for their poor play. Allen is a good special teamer, yes, but he constantly got abused as a corner this year.

The other Allen, Will Allen, is also expendable in my opinion.

You want untouchables...Start with Starks, Langford, Davis and Smith.

I'm sorry and I love Camarillo...but he is far from untouchable. Ferguson is old, and I would be surprised if he even returns. I expect Soliai to take his place and a draft pick to back him up...
 
Without a suitable replacement, Crowder is untouchable....obviously Ayodele and Torbor don't cut it.

Ayodele played better than Crowder!!! He had 71 tackles vs 51. I know Crowder was out for 3 games, but at his tackle rate he still wouldn't catch Ayodele. Also, Ayodele made a lot more tackles behind the line of scrimmage...and he also actually delivered some blows instead of just tackling the guys shoes!!!

Crowder sucks!!!
 
I have added Torber to the passenger manifest of the boat I would like to see sunk in the Atlantic! His pathetic effort on that long play to Miller made Chrowder look like Ray Ray!

i would like to see crowder gone to but the coachs for some reason think he could be a great MLB
 
ayodele and torbor both suck, cant cover anybody, once crowder went out in the houston game houston scored on 5 straight poss
 
There are only four untouchables C. Henne, J. Long, S. Smith and V. Davis. That's it.

Everybody else on this team could be gone! Depending on the cost/benefit I think everyone else can get cut or traded depending on the situation and value returned.

Players we should keep are D. Bess, R. Starks, L. Polite, K. Langford, V. Carey, J. Ferguson (at the right price), W. Allen, and J. Taylor (at the right price).

Even R. Brown could be released or traded. I doubt it but he's injury prone.
J. Smiley is also injury prone. J. Grove is also injury prone.

Obviously we need to retain some of these players...we can't just get rid of all these players but we need to get better at WR, NT, ILB, FS, and OLB.

Those are a lot of needs!!!

Our O-line will proabably stay intact but Smiley and Grove are injury prone. N. Garner is going to be solid.
