Line opened at MIA- 1, but quickly got bet all the way up to 2.5. Even with Ronnie out we are the favorites. I'm a tad bit surprised, anyone else? Then again, we are on 10 days rest, and the Jaguars aren't great on the road.
Jimmy James said:Isn't 3 points standard for home teams? That suggests to me that the action sees the Jags as the better team at a neutral site.

Jimmy James said:That gets into the question of what makes it harder to win on the road. Is it the hostile crowd? The weather? The travel? I'd guess it's a little of all 3, which would make you think that the standard should be something like only 1 point if the Jets play the Giants "on the road" or something like 2 if the Bucs play Miami at home.

you could just middle everything then, and the books wouldnt exist.
One person betting $10K shouldnt move the line at all. Maybe adjust the juice from -115 -105, if that.
