The NFL comes down to hit and misses, end of story.

Wayne was wrong to hire Saban. We have not sniffed the playoffs in almost a Decade, wow!

2 Really Bad Decisions which continue to haunt us in 2008.

1. Hiring Cam Cameron over Mike Tomlin, I really wanted Tomlin, he is a bad ***. This team needed discipline!

2. Cameron picking Culpepper over Brees, if the Fins had Brees, Cameron would be gone, but we would probably be in contention this year with Brady done. But here we are 2 years behind again. I like Chad Pennington, but compared to Flacco out there today it was obvious.

Life and Football come down to Decisions, the Dolphins have made few good ones since 2000. Ted Ginn anyone? Wow, painful.

I continue to support and watch the Fins, but seeing the Stadium half empty today, I could not help but think how different this team would be with Coach Tomlin and Drew Brees.
 
Mike Tomlin? What has he done, except inherit a good football team?

And Saban/Mueller picked Culpepper over Brees, not Cameron.

I think it was Nick Saban.
 
I don't have anything to say about the Mike Tomlin one, but who's to know that Drew Brees would have done so well? Would you take a QB who's shoulder is possibly screwed up for good, that hadn't really done much for the Chargers, or a QB who's knee is also screwed up, but had a monster career with the Vikings?
 
Culpepper never had an NFL head. He couldn't even fill out UF entrance forms.
 
How about not going for it on 4th and short the last 2 weeks!! Defense is playing like crap and he elects to punt on 4th and short!! You have to go for it, give the offense a chance.
 
My bad, too much to drink, and I am pissed off...

But I would still rather have had Brees over Culpepper, and Tomlin over Cameron.

I think we are headed in the right direction, but it still sucks. It is starting to get painful week in and week out. Thank God for beer!

Get over it! Holy ****... Yeah and I cant believe we didnt go for it on 4 and inches back in that game against the Jets we played in 1970... What a bad decision.. It is definatley something we all had an input in and almost 40 years later we are still hurting from it...

When you guys gonna move on from the Saban, Cameron should have shouldnt have crap? Lets go ahead and give it another 30 years first

Well yes picking Culpepper over Brees was a very bad choice but it has **** to do with the present.

I guess the topics of threads are wearing thin these days
 
these freakin threads suck and are beginning to get very annoying.. i thought this was a miami dolphins site, not a Drew brees, Nick Saban, Culpepper site...

I once started a thread about culpepper a few days after he was released last year and it immediately got moved, why is this one still here...

Just reflecting on why the Dolphins have been a non factor since 2000.
Not allowed to have emotion. I have fought for this team, what have they done for us lately? 1 Win last year?
