you would think that with all the weapons McD has at his disposal the Dolphins should be able to score more than 7 in the first half.

They will never admit it because they have pushed back on fans and media about it, but I think McDaniel's playcalling is somewhat limited some weeks because of the poor offensive line. In the first half Sunday, Jacksonville was in the backfield on almost every play, making Tua rush to throw the ball. Hence, we saw so many bubble screens and sideways passes at the line of scrimmage. If McDaniel was calling drop-back passes and deep shots more often, Tua would have been sacked often.

So, I get what McDaniel was doing. I don't get the ignoring of the offensive line each year and never upgrading it
