Trade Matt Roth for a 3rd

Trade Vonnie Holiday and John Beck for a 4th. Sooner the better.

Trade Soliai for a 6th. Sooner the better

Let Channing Crowder go to FA and take the comp pick.

Re-sign Vernon Carey and Renaldo Hill and probably Mathis and Barton etc.

If a great pass rushing DE/OLB emerges I would quickly change this.

Looks like an even weaker TE class than last year.

I dont think we can get a 3rd for roth, and 4th for beck and holliday each. Maybe a 5th for roth, and 5th for holliday. beck doesnt have any trade value, so might as well keep him and let him be a capable third stringer.

I would love to see this happen:

Acquire Roy williams(WR), Karlos Dansby(ILB), Chris Gamble(CB), and Dawan Landry(SS).

Trade Porter for a 4th, Roth and holliday for a 5th, and cut ernest wilford( only if he keeps playing this bad).

Let bell, goodman, hill, crowder, and crocker all walk. re-sign Will allen and vernon Carey.

1st round: rey Maulagua

2nd round: Michael Hamlin( If JA keeps playing poorly. if he picks up his game, then we should draft someone like will davis or cody brown)

2nd round: Will davis or cody Brown(again, if JA plays good and we draft an OLB with 2a, then we should draft Vince Oghobaase. A NT who is a great run stuffer)

3rd round: Domonique johnson. 6-2 200 pounds and runs a 4.40. A playmaker in the secondary to. had 5 picks last year. the only problem i have with him is he only had 22 tackles last year. Still, can be a major steal in the third round.

4th round: Philip hunt. Im prety sure he can play OLB in the 3-4. Big guy, 6-2 260, and can run 4.70 which isnt so bad.

4th round: Larry English. another guy that can probably play OLB in a 3-4.

5th and 7th rounds draft offensive lineman, cause we need some seriouse depth there.

You guys are funny. Your on here campaghing not only to trade players but your going as far as their specific market value and your basing your opinions on two games. Maybe we should allow the season to play out before we condem everyone. It is possible that just maybe one or two of the guys on your list just might step things up a bit and begin to excel at their postion.

Wow... calm down man. It was a light-hearted suggestion. It was not meant to stir up anything, just to suggest that the guys you are so quickly ready to write off already may actually have a place on this team instead. I could see Roth making an impact for us past this season, as well as possibly Crowder and certainly Yeremiah Bell.

That being said, the big things that I feel NEED to be done in this offseason include:

Re-Sign Vernon Carey
Re-Sign Yeremiah Bell (Not sure if we already did or not?)
Re-Sign Channing Crowder (not mandatory, especially if we get someone like Maualuga, but wouldn't mind seeing it get done)
Re-Sign Will Allen (See Crowder explanation)
Sign UFA Nmandi Asomugha or Chris Gamble or BOTH!

Draft a Top OLB Pass Rusher in the draft like Michael Johnson or George Selvie in the 1st and add playmakers at the FS, WR, DT, & CB positions.

Dansby is twice as good as Crowder and worth 3 million more. No way we would have both. Besides, Torbor and Adele are good as well and the Phillips kid in the draft would be a future ZT IMO.

Asomugha with his 10 foot reach is a menacing pass defender but the thin CB market will move his price up into the stratosphere. Vontae Davis with our veteran secondary will be a wiser long term choice. If I remember right he is only 20 years old.

Johnson may very well go in the top five and we aren't going to be there and George Selvie isn't even as good as Quentin Moses. Selvie would be a waste of a 1st or 2nd round pick.

We should sign chris gamble because Nmandi would comman way to much money. A duo of Gamble and Allen as our CB would be great.

Again, Will Allen is signed through 2009. He isn't a FA until the 2010 offseason. Andre Goodman and Renaldo Hill are FA's after this year.

Guys Roy Williams is locked up until 2013 so you can forget him.

As for Dansby he plays outside lienbacker so why would you get rid of Channing Crowder our ILB.
