i dont get why the cowboys r so high on this list. they have a qb who has never won a big game in his life, and as much as of a cancer owens was for them, he was still by far there best reciever[ yes i no they have witten but hes a tightend] and without him there he leaves a huge gap in that recieving core. i guess the they just love the cowboys bc we go 11-5 and win r division and we r put at 40-1 to win the superbowl which is towards the bottom half of the league, and then a team like dallas who chokes year after year goes 9-7 to cap it off with a 44-6 loss in philly, and loses owens and still gets 15-1 odds to win the sb which is towards the top of the league. i just dont get it. there r some other teams i just dont get also like the vikings and bears to have such good odds but i had to vent on the cowboys bc i dislike them lots. we r going to shock so many ppl this year, and the only ones who wont be shocked is our fans.
 
there is alot of teams above us who are overrated by the media, who care though, just win baby
 
OHHH the great San Diego Chargers are still way up there. If folks keep predicting them to be good they might be right someday. Most overrated team in the world.
 
This is BS. Texans, Jags, Panthers? This is why I don't gamble.
 
I already have my bet down.. Dolphins to win AFC East, AFC Conference and Super Bowl..

Or week 5 last year, how about week whatevr in 2005? The Chargers are always supposed to be much, much better than we are yet the scoreboard always seems to say otherwise. Not saying they can't beat us but you have to admit the pundits severely overrate them year in and year out. In 07 before their week 2 matchup with NE I heard one pundit say the Chargers were top to bottom the best roster in the NFL. OH then NE steamrolled them 38-10, good call.
 
Future odds are generally poor bets on teams in that range. The only way you are in great shape going into the playoffs is if Miami has a 1 or 2 seed. Otherwise, you're looking at 4 victories to win the Super Bowl, and the odds on the Dolphins might be higher than 40/1. In other words, you're risking the regular season for nothing. That's not an exaggeration. Very frequently it pays more to roll over the money line odds in each playoff game, than to take the future odds.

Besides, Nevada future odds are notorious ripoffs. I worked in sportsbooks and helped set them. The sportsbook manager and casino owner want to be as conservative as possible. That's why you see ludicrous narrow gaps from one level to the next. Offshore odds are invariably higher and more legitimate.
 
imagine if the lions do the turn around better than the fins and win the whole thing that would be funny as hell, CHA CHING jackpot
