The Trifecta really has a knack for hitting on UDFA & late round talent. In fact Polite was first signed by the Trifecta as an UDFA in Dallas. They left a mark in Dallas by discovering UDFAs Miles Austion & Sam Hurd drafting guys like Ratl. In Miami its been Carpenter & Bess. They have also found talent in other teams UDFA & late round selections. Haynos, Sperry (looks promising), Nate Garner, Joe Berger, Nate Jones, & Tyrone Culver to name a few.

Parcells & Ireland really have a knack for finding talent late. They did it in Dallas that is why I mentioned Hurd & Austin both who I expect them to make offers too when they become FAs.

The Trifect ahas really hit on late round picks guys Donald Thomas, Kendall Langford, Lex Hilliard & Chris Clemons who really looks promising. You have to love what they are doing down here. Cause for once when a player goes down we dont worry about who his sub is. We know whoever is coming is gonna get the job done. You have to love that about this team.

I get what you are saying, but Kendall Langford was a 3rd round pick, to me that's not a late round pick, but anyways YES they have had two great drafts.

Ireland is top notch and we are very luck to have him especially compared to what we have had in the past. Moving forward it will be interesting if Ireland will be able to accumulate the draft picks like the Pats have for the last few years. They have gotten there by trading some of their veteran players and trading back out of the first round of the draft.
Fun to watch.

I thought Langford was drafted later, I always get confused on him.

BTW we might be seeing more of one those late round picks. If Ferguson Injury is serious, which I hope not. Miami could move McDaniel to NT, opening a spot at one of the DE spots. Dotson would become active and see time at McDaniels spot.

Dotson is a guy the organization is supposed to be high on, so we will see.

I think 1 maybe 2 more years the machine Tuna and Ireland are building will be fully operational....its fun to watch this team though and we are still turning heads....now we just have to snap some necks the next couple weeks! GO PHINS!

Another thing to consider was that our team had no bench at the time they took over. Between injuries and just shotty drafting, there weren't that many quality players on our team a couple years back. That really helped stack the current regimes dice in the draft room. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they are successful and think they have done a good job, but man, we were really bad for awhile there. They have given us depth again. Now all we need are some play-makers.

Haynos was a freebie we grabbed off GB's PS....didnt cost us anything, and his blocking has been key without Fasano.

Yeah some forgot what a horrible blocker Martin was, and on one of Ricky's run Sperry delivered a key block playing out of an H-Back role last night. They Ricky, Sperry & Polite in the backfield at what point and it was a sweep. Ricky made it to like the 3 yard line.

I absolute love the Nate Garner, Kory Sperry, Devon Bess and Polite pick ups... Garner might go down as one of the all time steals if he continues this kind of versatile play!!! it's almost like they have a science to drafting well late in the draft and picking up UDFA ... I'm looking forward to finally seeing Dotson on the field!!! he played well a few games ago with the limited snaps he had ... i'm anxious to see what the F/O does in 2010 ...

Well, they might be using that science again right after Friday's UFL game the whole league will be looking to sign UFL free agents. Meaning we could see Miami sign some unknown talent that has thrive in the UFL.

BTW you forgot to mention Cam Wake awesome signing, and how much better has our Defense looked since he has been playing.

Guys Haynos had one bad game recieving on Thursday, that is the first time I see the kid drop multiple passes. Other then the Panthers game he has caught the ball everytime it has been thrown his way. Plus the kid is awesome at blocking.

I don't know much about the players in the UFL, but if they make a signing or signings; lets hope that, who every the player or players are, they are the diamond in th rough types they seem to like to bring in!!!! Wake has been awesome, but i'll hold off on him because i think he is going to get MUCH better, than he is now!!! until than i'll stay with Garner, Bess and Polite because of the development they have made over year #1 ... Sperry looks like he has been here awhile and it's only been 2 games, thats a testament to his preparation ... Although Wake has made plays, i want to see dominance like he did in CFL ... and justify that salary he gets paid...
