According to Roberto Wallace's twitter page, his former San Diego State teammate Jose Perez will be signed by the Dolphins. Perez measured 5'11 3/4" 183 pounds at his pro day and ran a 4.46 in the 40.

5'11 183, pretty small...Doesn't have significant speed but not slow either.

I dont get it.
 
Probably one of the few, if not the only one here whose seen this guy play. I live in San Diego and follow SDSU rather closely. Perez is a decent player. Average speed (for a CB), solid ball skills. Most likely just a body for preseason games, but if he comes in hungry enough who knows. Might find his way onto the roster.
 
I don't know where the rumor of average speed is coming from? He's clocked at 4.4 during his Pro Day on a wet and slick field and has been clocked at 4.3. He's actually 6'1 so pretty decent height no? Does anyone know how he's doing at camp? Hows he been looking?
 
i had put my flights on hold for the superbowl, but now i just clicked purchase once i heard we signed jose perez.

dont know anything about the guy, doubt he pans out to be anything, but you never know.
 
maybe this is the after effect of the supposed secondary burns for touchdowns
