I may be wrong but I believe this is an additional staff member that we did not have last year. I find it interesting what changes Coach G might implement given his rookie years experience

I'm guessing he is a friend of a friend or is somehow connected to someone on the coaching staff who is getting helped to get a "leg in the door". Entry level position. Former QB from Yale so he's probably a smart guy.

He spent time with the Carolina Panthers doing something similar. Behind the scenes tape editing which is essentially what the Quality Control Coach does. He was a grad assistant at Duke last year.

He replaces Chris Kuper who was promoted from Off Quality Control to Asst OL coach after former Asst OL coach Jeremiah Washburn was hired by Chicago as OL coach.
