Of course, this all starts with the Dolphins winning both of their next 2 games at Houston and at New England. But the following scenario could very well play out over the next two weeks:
Oct. 1st
Miami over Houston
Cincy over New England
Indy over NY Jets
Minnesota/Buffalo doesn't matter (Bills lose to either Minnesota this week or Chicago next week)
Miami 2-2
New England 2-2
NY Jets 2-2
Buffalo 2-2 (benefit of the doubt)
Oct. 8th
Miami over New England
Jacksonville over NY Jets
Chicago over Buffalo
Miami 3-2
New England 2-3
NY Jets 2-3
Buffalo 2-3
I know this might seem like a bit of a stretch to some, but I feel there is a good chance of this particular scenario playing out. If you look at the match-ups, the Miami over New England game might be the only one to be considered an upset. If all of the "favorites" in the other games win out, then we could be alone on top of the AFC East very soon!
I know it all begins with Miami winning both of their games, and that "on any given Sunday..." for the rest of the games, but I just wanted to throw some positive light and hope on the season!
