Dolphins and Jalen Ramsey mutually agree to seek a trade

The problem is, unless you hope is falls to 48, you have to draft a CB at 13 if you expect a starter.

You are the devaluing the O line and D line.

At least with safety, you could get an impact starter material with any of our first 3 picks

I'm not wasting a 1st round, especially 13 on a CB
I never said what pick we should use on CB…I actually prefer to stay at 13 draft one of Campbell/Banks/Membou, if they aren’t there then trade down and grab Zabel but I absolutely want an OL in round 1. Pref DL in round 2 we can get a stud with the depth in this class, and then CB round 3, and I still think we can draft a starter there.

If they trade Ramsey they will need to find two new starters at CB. I don't trust anybody else at that position on the roster right now.

Well there we go and now we know. Was hoping for Hill but Ramsey makes sense.

He has a tendency of wearing his teams out and moving on and at his age its ok to get something back now rather than watch him walk away later. Now the question of when we will see his name again. Will it be next Friday, Saturday, or after June 1st.

So many holes on this roster right now.

So, now the question becomes.... What could we get for him?

Maybe a 3rd? From a contending team. We shall see
I think that's often the "rub" when we here about "mutually agreed to seek a trade". The fact is, the Dolphins can say that, but are under no obligation to accept a deal they don't see as positive.

IOW, if a team offers up a #2, great. Jump on it. If they offer up less, meh, "pass".

I think they might get a future #2, plus perhaps a low rounder thrown in. Is that enough? IDK. We don't really need any more low rd. picks, and futures do us no good now. Does simply unloading the salary carry weight/value?

I can see a few different ways to look at it.

That's my question. I'm not trying to argue, cause I don't know.

But who's a talent starting potential CB that could be available at 98?

Welp that sucks.

Beneficial towards the future as saves a ton of money next season but it’s a heavy hit this year.

Where the Slick Rick haters at?

😂
Lol.... Well, first of all, it hasn't changed my opinion of the Rickster, or twatter in general.

More interesting to me is, if this is one's first concern upon hearing news of this magnitude, it says a lot in itself.

Is this really your primary takeaway from the "headline"?

Is Will Johnson then in play @ 13, shuffling most of our overall draft strategies?

I would consider it......

Just off the top my head in our range at 98 that have starting potential this year

Nohl Williams
Upton Stout
Quincy Riley

Maybe even Jacob Parrish if he falls that far. This draft is very deep at corner and we can find starters in round 4 imo.

I mean, with Griers history... Yes

But I hope not. I believe the value is better with O line/D line and even Jihaad before either Johnson or Barron who would be the most likely options.

This team has a lot of holes. Prioritizing WRS and CBS is not a successful way to build a team IMO

Thanks for this reply. I'll read up on these guys.

On here it is.

Not a single person in the national or local media had anything on this. He is the only one.

He’s gotten some contract details wrong, and missed on Bosa to the Niners. Doesn’t meant he’s a fraud like many said. Clearly he gets the scoop before things happen, and this is the NFL where things are fluid and can change during negotiations.

If nothing came from his tweet last week then he’d have gotten hammered on here. Now he deserves his props is all.

Seeking a trade and being traded away are far different. Until a trade actually happens it’s still not correct. Miami still needs to receive appropriate compensation.

lol.

He had the scoop before everyone else. Period. Had Barry and the rest of the local media scrambling for info late last week and they couldn’t find anything.
