...at injuring opposing QBs. Ben has torn meniscus and will require surgery.

Well my friend - A Steelars fan thought it might be a torn ACL so I guess that's a little better.

Why the heck did Tomlin keep him in to bitter end anyway? No need to run him out that last time and expose him further.

Impressive given how few opportunities the defense has had to get to the QB.

I was hoping maybe the Steelers would turn it around at home and beat the Pats next week, but that's looking even less likely now.

I couldn't understand that either. The game is over and Tomlin sends Ben out there to take more shots on his injured leg. I'll never understand his thinking. The guy is already hardly able to move around and defend himself. Why risk making his injury a much worse one. I lost a ton of respect for Tomlin, not too smart. Pittsburgh is off to a very good start and is almost guaranteed to compete in the post season and he gets sent out in mop up time on an injured leg. Pointless.

I ****ing hate that the Patriots will definitely beat them now.

Like they were definitely going to beat the dolphins today ;)

I get what you're saying, but the Steelers are not beating the Cheatriots with Landry Jones at QB.

Prob went in because they didn't realize how hurt he was

I hate that because I felt like Pittsburgh was the best chance to keep the scum from NE from winning the AFC again.

That's what Tomlin does. The Steelers could be up 28 pts late in the game or down 28 points and he leaves those guys in the game. Makes no sense but this is far from the 1st time he's done it. He doesn't seem to care about a potential injury in a meaningless situation.

How much of it was Big Ben telling Tomlin that he was OK and he could still play? These players have enough ego and testosterone to try and play through nearly anything so I wouldn't put it 100% on Tomlin. If Ben would have been 100% honest with the trainers/doctors and told them that he was injured (as opposed to just being hurt), then I would venture to guess that they would have left Landry Jones in there for the rest of the game.
