The rational side of me says the season still isn't going anywhere because of how we started out, but just like the last couple years it seems like there is going to be some mediocrity in competition for wildcard spots. There's a lot of teams like NYJ, us, and Buffalo that stay on the brink and can't get over the hump. Usual contenders like Pitt, SD, and Baltimore aren't lighting the world on fire. Indy is like a repeat of Harbaugh in SF last year, that front office and ownership can't get along with an effective coach so the wheels are falling off.
I have a hard time believing we will be a playoff team, but I have a hard time believing there's gonna be many teams outside the big three and maybe Pitt that will have an easy road either.
