Only had to read your first sentence to discredit your post.

We will be $15-20 million under the cap, plus we don't have to pay his signing bonus if we were to trade for him. He'd easily fit into our cap.

Have you ever heard of the salary cap? The Jets are so tight with the cap that they can't even carry a full 53 man roster, while we could possibly be 25mil under the cap next season.
