i'm not down on him...i just think these guys have to put this contract together in a way that protects us...and with these guys and the work they've done since they've been here i don't trust them to have the smarts...frankly

i'm definitely about taking a chance on flynn but i want an out in that contract which we should be able to do it he fails...end of story

Don't believe a single thing you read on PFT, rotoworld, Twitter, or ESPN until you actually see video of Manning signing a contract. We have seen enough useless, phony "insider reports" swirling about from this thing to last us a lifetime.

The only thing worse than signing Flynn and finding out he blows would be getting stuck with him for five years. There has to be a fire exit.

if we go about it right barring his market getting absurd we should be able to get out within 2 years max i'd say...no different that the cards are able to get out of the kolb contract after only 1 year if manning comes there

Exactly! If we sign him I guarantee we will give him a huge contract for 4-5 years and hes played 2 games! I understand that all rookies have never played any NFL games but their contracts are lower now because the new bargaining agreement.
