Dolphins are revisiting the idea of signing free agent Jason Taylor

Return of Jason Taylor still Possible

According to Rotoworld (Boston Herald) we are still interested in JT

I believe that Jason will be a Dolphin. Why wouldn't he be? Parcels and co have already established a public opinion that there assessment of his play last year was such that he can still play at a high level.

He most likely will land an incentive laid 750,000 contract that can balloon to 1.75 or 2 with the right #s.

He can fill in as a role player and significantly add to the athleticism, depth and experience on a relatively young defense.

We are all going to have to grow up a little and welcome this dancing queen back to our team - that what I think!

Damn, I would sign JT just for the simple pleasure of not letting him sign with the Pats

Does he still have the heart to bleed football again that is the question that makes blood shoot out of my eyes!!!

I dont really want him...and i am wearing his jersey as i write this.

I dont care if he goes to the Pats. He is on his way out. Let the Pats play that game. We are going with youth all the way. And if u think about it, The Pats draft and guys they signed like Adalius Thomas ect. All of a sudden not a force? Why do they need Taylor? That is what is absolutely baffling to me unless they end up paying him less and he becomes a pass rusher only and comes in half the time.

Otherwise, this just proves to me the Pats are not all that!

Because he pissed all over the chances of playing for us before last season when we were "losers". he forced his way out and created a dividing force in the locker room during a crucial part of the transformation process, when we had new establishment wanting to make themselves known and JT was saying "we are going to suck so trade me to a playoff team".

I loved JT when he played here, not 10 feet away his 99 jersey hangs. The year he won Defensive MVP i almost got into barfights defending him from Champ Bailey fans.

But the situation he put us in was ugly, and what finally makes me sick is now he comes crawling back after we start winning. When we wanted him back, he couldnt be bothered. We win a division, he is a team guy.

The brains of the Patriot organization is in KC now.

KC needs defense, do you see them signing a bunch of older players? Nope.

BB lost his crutch, now we need to kick his last leg out from under him.

P.S. i support bringing JT back. I dont care if he only plays special teams. Let the man retire as a Fin. (And hopefully get a ring in the process:))

I really do think he'll be playing for Miami come the start of the season. We don't have much of a pass rush and despite the decline of Taylor's play he is still a better pass rusher than almost everyone on our team other than Porter (maybe Wake too). Wake is still unproven, but I do think having Wake, Jason, and Porter in on obvious passing situations will be a great tandem. Remember Jason can still play zone coverage and can catch the ball. The would as some versatility to our defense.

I don't think they ever stopped looking at JT. I think this is part of a bigger chess match between BB and BP. Neither one wants the other to get JT for cheap. I think this is more about hurting NE than helping MIA.

Where would JT play in a 3-4 defense? I don't think he is better at DE than our incumbents. Would he be stouter against the run than Porter as OLB? I doubt seriously he is better than Roth against the run. How is he in coverage in the flats? Or is he a pass-rushing specialist only?

Wouldn't it be better to have both Porter and Taylor to cover the weakside? Neither is particularly young and durable and yet both are extremely talented and experienced.

Taylor would definitely be worth the money. He just has to be convinced into taking a limited role.

Actually, at their age, it may take both of them to man the position over a years time.
