Dolphins are set to have the most cap space for 2022

I give Grier a lot of grief on this board. I think in a lot of cases it’s warranted. However, I have to be fair and laud him when he deserves it. In this case, he has earned praise. To think a team as talented as we are in certain positions could have that amount of cap space is actually amazing. Obviously, it’s going to come down to what he does with said cap space. But the fact we have that much deserves kudos. Nice job Chris Grier. Nice job indeed.

Holy f*ckin sh*t. Did I just read this right? I've been reading you lambasting him for 2 years now and you are finally coming around?

I'm a fan of Chris Grier and the job he has done and continues to do with this team. A young up and coming team and now you add the most cap space next year......hell of a job Chris...keep it up.
I agree and I keep seeing from fans that Chris Grier is horrible and he needs to be fired.

We will only have a year or two left flush.

Once we have to start paying some of this young talent the Financials are going to change quickly and drastically.

You will hear a lot of the "Pay Gesicki" crowd this offseason because of the cap breathing room.

But ppl need to realize who we decide to pay this offseason may prevent us from keeping other home grown talent in very near future offseasons.

I hope we spend wisely, and Tua earns his 2nd deal.

This would give us a realistic window at winning the big one.

I have not posted that last comment in many, many years.

The season of change is afoot...

We're gonna need that cap to get ahead of the massive Tua contract after he sets the world on fire.

Tua might play 2 more years on his rookie deal before extension talk starts. When that happens, we'll have to start managing who we give extensions. And depend even more on good drafting to keep the cap healthy.
