The Miami Dolphins are signing my client T/G Chris Martin to their p-squad this afternoon.. Please spare me all the lame Coldplay references

Why? Because he's going to block like the singer from Coldplay? Nah, that's Dallas Thomas.

As long as he is better than Daniel Martin we should be good to go.

He went to UCF. Covered the team in 2013 when they went to the fiesta bowl and he was the best player on that offensive line.

Pretty sure he's a former tight end, so he's an athletic guy but his strength certainly wouldn't blow anybody away.

love his music... but he just released new tunes... how's he gonna tour and show up on Sunday's??!!

Per league source, Dolphins intend to sign veteran LB James Michael Johnson, who has started 18 NFL games and played in 45.

Johnson, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns back in 2012. He has one year remaining on his four-year, $2.52 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.

He spent one year in Cleveland before he was cut and later claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs. Since then, Johnson has played for the Buccaneers, Bengals, Chiefs and most recently for the Jaguars.

The Lions signed him a few weeks ago, but cut him loose last week.

In 2014, Johnson appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and recorded 51 tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defense.

The Dolphins intend to sign veteran linebacker James-Michael Johnson to their 53 man roster, according to a league source. The team must make a corresponding roster move before signing him and announcing it.

The move to sign Johnson would suggest there's uncertainty about the status of starting linebacker Jelani Jenkins, who left Sunday's game with an ankle injury. Coach Dan Campbell said Jenkins is listed as "day to day."
