I think the success that Gase provided tamed Tannenbaum and gave Gase some credo and power in decision making.
 
Slow and steady wins the race. Off-season champions rarely win anything. Gase and the FO have to be disciplined and smart in their approach
 
We couldn't match them anyway with the amount of needs we have on this team....
 
Not sure they can ever be matched with Beli as coach and Brady as QB

OTOH, it fascinates me the number of people who complain about 'BAUM trading up for Carroo as if Gase was asleep. I know fans have seen one draft, but I'm impressed with how it went with Gase in the bldg

Great point. Hes not making that Carroo trade unless Grier or Gase (hopefully both) are telling him "look we need to go get this guy".

If he IS making that trade on his own evaluation then yeah, stupid, but the chances of it going down like that are slim to none or he'd probably be gone already.
