Dolphins at Vikings predictions.

i maybe a tad early on this thread, but why not since we are already looking forward to this sunday.

my prediction is miami wins a close game 27-20 as we hold off a late drive by the vikings.

henne goes off for 315 yds and 3 tds.

Ricky and Ronnie r quiet due to the strong front 7 of Minn and that is why henne has such a strong game.

Ronnie will get 13 carries for 55 yds and Ricky will get 12 carries for 45 yds. very quiet on the running game.

the beast officially explodes this week. 9 rec 145 yds 2 tds. the beast ****in makes his mark as a dolphin.

bess has a good game also with 6 rec for 70 yds and a td

hartline gets 3 rec for 35 yds.


now on to the d.

our secondary has another strong game with not dealing with any big threats at wideout.

jason allen gets an int.

vontae gets a sack and 6 tackles

dansby 12 tackles, ff, 1 sack

wake 2 sacks, 4 tackles.
 
From the relentless beat down and countless interceptions by Dolphin defenders, the ageless douche bag Drama Viqueen Favre plays in his last game (fingers crossed)
 
Our next 4 games are brutal. Tough stretch of games. I'm hoping we sneak out of Minny with a tough fought victory. 23-20.
 
Awesome prediction! Would love to see this happen. I think, with the beat up secondary the Vikings have, the prediction for BMarsh is probably pretty good. Also think we get some key INTs from Favre, which will probably be the difference in the game. Hope our D can contain Peterson and hope he is up to his fumbling ways. Shiancoe worries me.

shiancoe would worry me but i think dansby can hold him in check.

as for my marshall prediction, the beast is just bound to explode eventually. what better way for him to explode on a day where we will be passing a lot due to the vikes strong front 7 and with henne playing his first game in a dome where there will be no wind factor whatsoever, his arm will really show this week.

that throw that was underthrown to the beast this past week would be a td in the dome bc the wind wouldnt bat it down.

I like the way you think. Its slim, but would be great if we won like that
 
I don't like to make predictions and would be extremely happy getting out of Minny with a win no matter how that happens. I do hope that Henne has enough time to find Marshall and company. I think Minny can be had in the air but the ground game will be held in check. Their front four is going to give us a lot of problems and I hope we are prepared for that.

I believe Favre will force it into coverage, it is up to us to NOT DROP THE EASY picks. If we can do that and change the field position we will have Minny on their heels. Again, we just CANNOT shot ourselves in the foot with penalties or dropped passes. We need to play close to perfect to achieve this win.

I hope Henne and Marshall are working with getting in sync. They need too develop chemistry soon.
 
It won't be a coming out party. But i believe that this is the game that puts us on the map. The game that lets the rest of the NFL know that we really can run with the big boys.

Ronnie and Ricky only combine for 100 TDs each due to the stiff running defense Minny poses.

Every play the Vikes run on defense ends with a Cameron Wake sack or V. Davis pick.

Dansby runs over during the game and shaves Chilly's mustache off and AP spends the entire night in the fetal position screaming something about "Don't let Starks eat me."

People want to see Favre do well. It's just a matter of time before the people hoist him back up to see those flashes of old. The Dolphins will hav etheir work cut out for them. I originally said stop Peterson make Favre beat them. But now I think Miami needs to go after Favre. Pressure him all day. Play the receivers tight. Knock the ball down. Tackle right away after a catch. No yards after the catch. Smothering them like that should work. Pressure Favre and force him into a bad decision. If they do that defensively, it should keep the score down. They will still get some point though, but that defense style should hold them back.

On offense, Miami has to establish a run game. KEEP THE VIKINGS OFFENSE OFF THE FIELD. They can't score points if they aren't on the field. So Miami MUST get a ground game going this game. Eat the clock up and get points. NO TURNOVERS. Don't turn it over again and you will win. If Henne goes 17/26 for 190 yards again with no TDs or turnovers, I will not complain. NO TURNOVERS. But you have to get first downs and move the ball, so get that ground game going this week. I would love to see Ronnie go over 100 yards rushing with Ricky right behind him with 80 or 90 yards. Or even vice versa.
 
This is definitely one game that I wish Dan Henning would miss the team flight. His erratic play calling coupled with our need to play ball control makes this seem a very steep hill to climb. Our defense will definitely have to play lights out again.

I don't like predicting scores, but I see a very close game.

If the D can stop Adrian Peterson then maybe it won't be so close. That's a pretty darn big IF though.
