It is common knowledge that there is an ongoing investigation into the Jonathan Martin/ Richie Incognito story. The NFL announced that their investigators will be meeting with Martin on Thursday. Last night much to my surprise, Stephen Ross announced that HE will personally be meeting with Martin on Wednesday. Why is that? Why can't he wait until the NFL visits with Martin first? Is it because he wants to offer Martin Hush Money the way they bought the silence of that volunteer at the Golf Tournament last year? Something seems highly inappropriate to me. I hope Martin has all his lawyers and both parents there when Ross shows up so they can tell him they are not for sale.

Agreed, it looks bad. Looks like Ross is tampering with a witness against his organization. Since when is Ross an investigator. This guy Ross is a dimwit. Obviously, Ross is making the point that Ireland is cut out of the process. Ross has good intentions but he should not meet with Martin. They don't have Incognito's side. Ross will say to Martin: "I will get to the bottom of it." Also, Martin's video statement sounds so rehearsed and orchestrated. I have no faith in the Fins organization. Ross will write a check, give Martin a release, and Martin will probably be a career bench-warmer for the Colts. Disgusting precedent.
