Dolphins claimed CB Bene Benwikere off waivers from the Panthers.
It's a rare shrewd move by the Dolphins, who need all the coverage help they can get. At his best, Benwikere is a quality slot corner who was stretched playing outside in Carolina. He got burned to a crisp by Julio Jones in Week 4, but was solid in Carolina's first four games. It seemed like the Panthers were trying to send the team a message by cutting him.
