I love that Parcells and Ireland are moving so fast to lock these guys up. I would expect Langford to be locked up to a deal before June is out. Merling and Henne though probably won't sign until the week prior to Training Camp. The Dolphins have been moving up the list quickly in signing their 2008 draft picks. Next up on the list, it would seem, is third-rounder Kendall Langford, a defensive end out of Hampton University.
''Although we've been talking, we're not close,'' said Adisa Bakari, Langford's agent.
Bakari did agree with agents for the six already-signed draftees, however, that the Dolphins have seemed interested in working with alacrity since just after the draft.
