The only player on that list I recognize is Sears. He played for the Bucs, and started having mental issues, and had to quit football.

I remember Jimmie Giles because he had one of the best games, if not the best game, for a TE against Miami ever.

Unfortunately im one of those people who cant live without Sunday Ticket no matter how much it costs.. They have me roped up.
...and I'll go back to watching the helmets go back and forth on nfl.com while listening to the internet radio stream.

Without knowing the particulars, it's too early to say "I guess we can sue for anything!" It's the same constant as the McDonald's coffee lawsuit that so many people like to use as the poster child for how overly litigious the USA is. Ask any lawyer about it and watch them either laugh or roll their eyes, because it's frustrating.

yeah and the lawsuit will get thrown out just like every other one has. these guys are ridiculus. you know what you are getting yourself into when you play the game. ive had 9 and im not sueing anyone bc im the dumbass who kept playing

You were fully aware of the correlation between CTE and football? You were told "Hey, you don't have to keep playing if you don't want to, but before you go back in you should be aware of the major repercussions you will face if you suffer any more head trauma"? Man your high school team must have had a hell of a medical staff.

And what are these other lawsuits you're talking about that have been "thrown out"? I'm not aware of any, and I'm pretty hip to the legal game. If their allegations have any merit (I'm not a doctor, nor am I even involved with anything close to concerning their suit) then yes, I'd go ahead and say that they have some reason to sue. They are claiming the NFL has hid information regarding the link between CTE and football.

This is just like the tobacco lawsuit... people use hindsight improperly and bash those who are actually the reason we are capable of it!

Maybe we can sue for being subjected to those miniature chairs at the stadium for 5 hours each game for years. My knees are still hurting..
