Did anyone else see the stat that came up on sundays game that Gus has completed more passes of 30+ yards than any QB this season? I'm trying to verify it, but im having trouble finding it...

If its true this is the first time in many years since we have actually had a down the field offense that has really helped to elevate the play of the RB's and the O-line...

And no matter what anyone says, being the longball king of the year is a major thing...Congrats Gus!

I believe it was just that he attempted more passes of 30-plus yards, not completed.

He certainly became more accurate as time went on. Oh - and I think this is a team thing. Sage himself probably threw about 6-7 of those 30-plus balls.

Most persistant?? yes.

Best?? no....not by a long shot.

That stat was for passes thrown (not completed) 35+ yards in the air.

I dont care what anybody says....that boxer style wrap on Frerotte's hand messed with his accuracy all season long....Just look at those throws to Welker yesturday....all over the place....and Yes sometimes he threw it well. I just think his accuracy WAS affected and that should have been addressed.
