Dolphins best team not to make playoffs?

Would everyone agree, as an objective football fan (aside from being a dolphins fan), that the Fins are the best team that aren't playing in the playoffs?

I would agree that KC is, if for no other reason than the fact that they had a 1-game better record, and beat the Dolphins in Miami. However, it would be interesting to see what would happen if the teams met again now.

Yes, Miami was definitely better than Denver that year. And had Indy decided to actually show up against the Broncos in the next-to-last week of the season, the Dolphins would have been in.
