Dolphins better get ready

You have to be able to run the ball in bad weather. We have finesse running backs on our roster who are not what you want when the temps are freezing.

Ryan Tannehill said he actually likes playing in cold weather. Considering that he played a lot better in December last year, maybe he wasn't kidding? We'll find out.

Football is meant to be played in cold weather- outdoors. It's NOT meant to be played in 100 degree heat indexes like South Florida.

Tell that to the SEC, and please tell me again where most of the Division 1 recruits come from oh, that's right, Texas, Florida, California and Georgia. I grew up in ND and the notion that football is only a cold weather sport is laughable at best.

No spinning it, that type of weather definitely favors Pittsburgh. We need to be able to run the ball in those conditions and I don't even believe Lamar Miller has played in anything close to being that cold. Hopefully Tannehill embraces the elements.

I play the QB position, and IMO it's MUCH more difficult throwing in relatively high wind speeds and freezing temperatures (especially for a lifelong warm weather Texan, to South Floridian QB Ryan Tannehill), then just simply running the ball between the tackles. If there is a game this season where running the ball is implemented in the majority of the offensive game plan, it has to be here. Pittsburgh is mediocre on all facets of their defense. They cannot run the ball, or defend against it. Run Lamar 25 + time this Sunday Sherman.

Does this mean I should abandon my 2nd row seats and join my buddy in his box? First World problems

Looks like we better go with an extra offensive tackle to aid the run game again! This is a must win

I couldnt care any less what the weather is. No excuses on Sunday. These are professionals, apparently.

I see our offense doing good in inclement weather. Short to intermediate passes are our thing, don't see this weather affecting it.

Pit on the other hand, I don't understand how people could say this benefits them. They rely on the long ball way too much, and they may not even have Laveon this weekend. You expect me to be worried about Jonathan Dwyer? Dude is a bum...

We match up very well to the Steelers. Grimes will be good against the shifty Antonio Brown. Who is going to cover Clay reliably? Worldis I guess... Everyone else on that team is too slow.

I fully expect our WRs to take advantage of their weak lot of CBs. When Ike Taylor is your best CB you've got issues, he's good for a big PI every game and he's not fast enough to cover Wallace, who knows him all too well.

If you can't tell I'm pretty confident about a Dolphins victory this week. The only wild card being Big Ben, dude is hard to get on the ground and we are notorious for not finishing the sack.

Im hoping there is a blizzard that comes through here and the elements are such that what was played in the ice bowl. Thats football. That will tell you who the real men are. With that being said however, I wouldnt be surprised if Goddell rescheduled the game is a blizzard hit. I'm sure the players would be complaining like p***ys also if they had to play in those elements.

Yep, better get used to it. New York is pretty cold in February.

Weather for next Sundays game in Pittsburgh calls for a high of 31 and a 50% chance of snow showers.

Snow showers means wet non-sticking snow. You guys are acting like it's gonna be in the teens and a wind chill near zero.I dont recall any frost bitten players playing at new jersey last week.Pretty much the same weather with snow showers...big whoop.

31 - 35 is excellent football playing weather.
