Dolphins better get ready

its the doom and gloom of finfans everywhere! lol

35 and a 60% chance of a wintry mix right now. If you were to look through the roster it isn't like everyone went to the U and then is playing for the Dolphins.

Cold shmold.

I am pretty much in the same weather pattern as Pittsburg and I walk outside and cant see my breath which means it isn't cold.I can wear a sweatshirt only,a coat would be over kill.

After December 25th is when the real cold weather comes in.The weather will be a non-factor.

Well, good thing these guys make millions and buy long sleeves.

With the lack of mental toughness with this group of coaches/players, I would think inclement weather would be even more of a factor.

We have an ace in the hole. Wallace is coming back to Pittsburgh, and normally when a quality player goes back to play the old team, that player makes that team pay one way or the other.....snow, blizzard, or ice storm.....look for Wallace to take this game even more personal then the rest.

From VA all the way up to PA and beyond it's going to be a bit warm (50s to 60) until Thursday or so then it gets unseasonably cold.

The precip bothers me most. RT's small hands and a wet, icy ball.

However, the coldest game in Fins history they won.

Pennington was money in this game. Tyler Thigpen was unstoppable as well.

I remember 4th and goal Henning called a fade to Haynos. I almost jumped out the window. Similar to the feeling I had on the 4th down calls this past week. lol.

Only way there's ice on the ball would be if John Jerry drops his snow cone.

Weather for next Sundays game in Pittsburgh calls for a high of 31 and a 50% chance of snow showers.

Don't the Steelers have to play in the same weather? It's a wash. The argument that hot weather teams cannot play well in cold weather, and vice versa, is just an excuse. I think the time zone changes from flying from one coast to another affects teams way more than the weather.

When you live in the weather year around it is different.

In 2008 the Dolphins played at Kansas City. The temperature at kickoff was 10 degrees making it the coldest game in Dolphins history. With a wind chill, the temperature was -12. Dolphins won 38-31 and racked up 403 yards of total offense.
So like you said it's just an excuse, they have done it before.

You've also got a lot of players that played in the cold in college or with other pro teams. Unless you're talking about a specific player that has issues with the cold, the advantage or disadvantage it gives one team or another is overblown.

If anything, the Miami early September heat and humidity is more of an advantage for the Phins than the cold in Green Bay is for the Packers.
