well seems like everyone is jumping back on the bandwagon saying that we have a good run defence and we can run the ball.we have had a very good defence for a few years now it's just that wanny was to predictable and to vanillia on offence.now when we run a play i don't know what we are going to do as to before everyone knew what we were going to do.

Will still have that start off hot & fade away trend to worry about.

H Buffalo
A San Diego
H Jets
H Tennessee
A Patriots

i loved maddog when i lived in CT. have they had anything to say about the Fins?

Even Sean Salisburysteak is touting the Dolphins as possible AFC East contenders. Wasn't this the same idiot who predicted.....no GUARANTEED us to be last in our division?????

yes he was. Just read my sig I made about a month ago.

I honestly thought the Dolphins would do this well. I said from the start that they would be a 9-7 team. My thinking was we got a better coach, the under dog advantage, we got a bunch of new additions and IMO the only thing that has changed now that Ricky is back between now and 2 years ago when we were 10-6 is that we just got some new people. Sure we lost Surtain, Bowens, Greenwood, Marion, and sure our defense has aged 2 more years. But we still got guys just as good or better to replace those we lost (with the exception of surtain). But with better coaching I figured we would do great this year. The only reason I said 9-7 is because we have a very tough schedule.

After I saw the list again, after our win over Carolina I was quite a bit more optimistic. I mean Buffalo I thought would be a very good team this year and they haven't really proven that. San Diego has looked ok thus far,Tennesse can suprise people but they really are less talented than they used to be, and the Jets just lost both QBs. Those are all winable games.

Then we play in NE and that should be a loss. But it still remains to be seen if NE can play without guys like Light, Harrison. I think they will be fine still. But it should be one hell of a matchup with Bellichek vs Saban.

Pre-season was too early for doom and gloom and three games is too early for euphoria. But I do like 2-1 better than 0-3!

Isn't it amazing what Houck has done with the same crew as Wise had last year? And Saban's schemes.............WOW!

I told everybody who would listen that Miami would be good this year. Think about it, we only lost one game big last year, all the other games we were in till the end. AJ and his pick 6's were the reason for many of the losses. I knew that if we didn't give the other team gift TDs, we would win some games this year.

relax people, the next 6 games will decide the direction of this team; right now we have been riding high off 3 things: the So. Fla heat, the novelty of our schemes (and hence lack of film to scheme against us), and the rah-rah attitude of a fast start. The next 6 games are rough and as follows: at bills, at bucs, home chiefs, at saints, home falcons, home patriots. I think if we fix the penalties and continue to flourish under the new system we go 4-2, with our losses being at bucs and home vs. the patriots. However, we can easily go 2-4 or worse if we dont play up to par, with the heat advantage starting to fade away. The two wins guaranteed IMO are next week and at saints. 3-3 may be acceptable, it would put us at 5-4 and right in the mix, but 4-2 is so so much sweeter... POINT is lets not start counting the wins before they occur, or the chickens before they hatch (har har)... GO FINS... look for a 6-3 fins team after 9 games

I gotta' say ... WOW!!!

We look much better than I thought!
:D

Guys I feel we will win all our games at Home IMO. We play a whole lot better at Home. The road games worry me more: BILLS(W), BUCS (W), SAINTS(W), BROWNS W), RAIDERS (L), CHARGERS(L), AND PATRIOTS(L). Out of the 7 remaining I see 4 wins and 3 losses. I say we go 12-4.

HOME GAMES:
KC- stop the run. Run Ricky and Ronnie (WIN)
FALCONS - contain Mike Vick and running rame. Run Ricky and Ronnie. Get early lead. (WIN)
PATRIOTS - Kill Brady / control Dillon Run Ricky and Ronnie/ Manage game (WIN)
BILLS - (WIN) No explanation. Really.
JETS - (WIN) Revenge plain a simple.
TITANS - (WIN) Come on it's the Titans!!

Yes you may think I a f***ing crazy but it is not out of the question. Anything is possible. Anything.

GO DOLPHINS!!
